Chelsea Transfer News: Juan Cuadrado Deal Sought by Juventus, Latest Rumours
Juventus are reportedly considering making Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado's loan spell in Turin, Italy, permanent after the Colombian's strong start to life with the Bianconeri.
According to Goal.com's Romeo Agresti, the Serie A champions are targeting a £14.8 million move to buy the 27-year-old.
As Agresti notes, Cuadrado only arrived at Stamford Bridge in January for £23.3 million, and so, the Blues are "believed to be looking" for a higher figure in order to recoup their losses.

The winger failed to make an impact at Chelsea following his big-money move, as his only contribution in 15 appearances was a solitary assist.

However, in Italy, Cuadrado has looked completely revitalised and already has two assists in six Serie A appearances.
According to Squawka, he has also created 12 chances, drawn 19 fouls and successfully completed 20 take ons—comfortably surpassing his totals in twice as many appearances for the Blues last year and making him look much more like the player who was so successful for Fiorentina.
WhoScored.com demonstrated the impressive form he showed at the Florentine outfit:
Football journalist David Amoyal hailed his impact at Juventus since arriving in the summer:
Pundit and broadcaster Mina Rzouki also believes Cuadrado is an excellent player but feels there is room for improvement:
Agresti's report notes the Blues "are keen to offload" him, and it seems he would welcome the chance to stay and fight for silverware at Juve. Per Football Italia, he told JTV: "I was so happy from the moment I arrived and my teammates gave me a warm welcome. I have always been at the disposal of the Coach and the team."
However, with Chelsea severely struggling in the Premier League and the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar among those looking like a shadow of their former selves, they may be reluctant to sell a player on their books who is performing so well.
Further, with manager Jose Mourinho's future in doubt after a run of poor results, it's possible a new boss will be in charge by the time Cuadrado's loan spell finishes, and he may want to give the Colombian another shot in English football.
Should Mourinho remain in charge, though, a permanent switch does seem like the most likely outcome.
