Alfred Dunhill Links Championship 2015: Saturday Leaderboard Scores, Highlights
Thorbjorn Olesen leads the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on Day 3, shooting a seven-under round of 65 to take a three-shot lead at St Andrews, Scotland, on Saturday.
However, the Danish golfer is closely tracked by Florian Fritsch, whose eight-under par at Kingsbarns left him in second spot at the end of his round.
Sweden's Joakim Lagergren scored the best effort among the leading pack during Saturday's action, hitting 10-under par for the day to climb the leaderboard.
Ernie Els rolled back the years to record a round of 66, six-under par at St Andrews, recovering from the ignominy of missing a five-inch putt on the first day of play.

Saturday Recap

Olesen maintained his stunning form after three days of play, posting a round of 65 on Saturday at the spiritual home of golf.
The Dane has had no equal during the competition—scoring a round of 68 on Thursday, and a 66 on Friday.
Olesen started his day with a bogey on the first hole, but he soon recovered his form to storm ahead. Four birdies from the next eight holes restored the golfer's confidence, and he attacked the second nine with verve.
He birdied four of the last five holes to sit three shots ahead of the chasing pack, only needing to maintain his form to have a great chance of winning the title.
The European Tour shared the leader's brilliant putting on the 18th hole finish:

Fritsch's round of 64 keeps him in the hunt for glory—a vast improvement on his holing out on the first two days.
The German's eagle on the third set him up for a great day, and a further six birdies put him in a great position before Sunday's next round.
Lagergren's incredible front nine boosted him up to fourth on the leaderboard, with six birdies and a magical eagle on the third to set him up for a round of 10-under par.
The Tour provided the detail of his round:
Friday's clubhouse leader Jimmy Mullen dramatically slipped after holding the top of the leaderboard with Anthony Wall, with his round of 74 leaving him eight shots behind Olesen.
Wall also lost his form on Saturday after his one-over par at Carnoustie ruined his chances. The Englishman is now seven shots behind the leader.
Els' renaissance continued on Saturday after posting a great round of 67 on Friday. The legendary golfer went one shot better at St Andrews with a six-under round of 66 to hold a spot in the top 10 places.

There has been dynamic golf at the top of the leaderboard, with Olesen showing the skill of a player much higher than his world ranking of 155 suggests.
However, the golf romantic will be looking towards Els to put in a vintage display on Sunday to climb above the Danish golfer, with six shots separating the pair.
France's Benjamin Herbert is the silent assassin among the pack, and his consistency has seen him comfortably in third. If Olesen and Fritsch inexplicably collapse, the Frenchman is primed to strike, so far posting three sub-70 rounds in a row.
