Bills' Williams Rushes for Touchdown in Each of 1st 3 Games
Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams has rushed for a touchdown in each of his team's first three games, becoming the first rookie to accomplish that feat since Robert Edwards of the 1998 New England Patriots, per ESPN Stats & Info.
A fifth-round draft pick (155th overall) out of Florida State University, the 22-year-old Williams is vastly exceeding expectations for his draft slot, with 24 carries for 186 yards (7.8 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in his first three games.
He beat out Fred Jackson, Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown for the right to serve as LeSean McCoy's top backup. Surprisingly, Williams is his team's leading rusher through three weeks, as McCoy has been limited by a hamstring injury.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Though he's yet to miss a game, the 27-year-old McCoy has been far less successful than his rookie teammate, managing just 146 rushing yards and no touchdowns on 43 carries (3.4 yards per carry).
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter (via ESPN.com's Mike Rodak), the Bills might give McCoy a week off to rest. In that case, Williams would likely make his first career start in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Williams is just three yards behind Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones (189) for the rookie rushing title, but it does seem that Jones has overtaken Alfred Morris as his team's lead back, whereas Williams is unlikely to supplant McCoy beyond the next week or two.
