Pacquiao Comments on Recovery

Pacquiao told the Associated Press (h/t Fox Sports) that his shoulder is "80-90 percent" healed, with the boxer expecting to resume training in November or December with the aim of a fight in March.
On Sept. 28, Pacquiao posted on Instagram that he was making "very good progress.":
Pacquiao, 36, went into his May fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. with a shoulder injury, and after his loss, it was revealed that the fighter suffered a torn rotator cuff. While Mayweather has repeatedly said his recent win against Andre Berto will be his final fight, the hope in boxing circles is that Mayweather and Pacquiao will reunite for at least one more bout, this time with a healthy Pacquiao on the card.
Pacquiao was one of the finest boxers of his generation, but the loss to Mayweather—coupled with the fact that he didn't reveal his injury before the fight—remains a black eye over an otherwise legendary career. He's expected to fight early next year, with promoter Bob Arum revealing he's in negotiations with Amir Khan's camp for a potential bout between the fighters, per Gareth A. Davies of the Telegraph.
