Christian Benteke Injury: Updates on Liverpool Star's Knee and Return
Liverpool striker Christian Benteke made a substitute's appearance during the side's Premier League clash with Chelsea on Saturday, returning to the fray after suffering a knee ligament strain against Bournemouth on Oct. 28.
With Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge both on the treatment table, manager Jurgen Klopp has had to rely on 20-year-old Divock Origi to lead the line in recent matches.
A raw talent, Origi is still getting adjusted to the Premier League and has yet to open his account for Liverpool, so it's vital Benteke stays fit to give the side a leader up front.

Big things were expected of Benteke after he signed for the Reds from Aston Villa in the summer, and he has netted a respectable but unspectacular three goals in seven league appearances.
The barrel-chested striker gives Liverpool something different in the attacking third. His burly presence (6'2", 183 lbs) means the Reds can play a little more direct if needed, while his quality attacking crosses—although not appropriately utilised by Liverpool yet—is a facet of his game that puts opposition defenders on edge.
