WWE Raw Live Updates, Results and Highlights Before Sunday Night's Main Event

Gable talked about his history with luchadores and his journey to becoming the IC champion. He thanked the Mexican people for helping him see the way.

He said there are a lot of people deserving of a title opportunity before inviting Dragon Lee to the ring.

WWE aired a video to hype Penta vs. Fenix for later in the show. It did a nice job highlighting their career together, even though they couldn't use any AEW footage.

Up next, Chad Gable came out for a promo.

Since the show was pre-taped, the Netflix feed cut away to a non-existent commercial break before coming back right away.

Sol hit a few nice moves that led to a missile dropkick. She ended up hitting a sunset flip powerbomb to take Raquel off the apron to the floor. Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan ran to the ring, but Ruca took them out before they could do anything.

Lyra Valkyria ended up interfering and preventing the Sol Snatcher, which allowed Rodriguez to hit her finisher for the win.

WINNER: RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ

Ruca took on Raquel Rodriguez for the women's intercontinental title in the first bout. Before the match could get started, Jacob Fatu interrupted and got on the announce table to call out OTM and Keys. His mic was cut off after he started swearing.

When the bell rang, Raquel hit a clothesline to take control right away. She cornered the former champion for a series of back elbows.

Ruca used her speed and agility to knock Rodriguez out of the ring and hit a beautiful moonsault over the top rope to the floor. Rodriguez regained the upper hand for a moment, but Ruca kept herself in the fight.

Jey Uso was apparently busted open because his face was blurred out while people were checking on them. Back in the arena, Sol Ruca came out for the first match.

Raw opened with a shot backstage of OTM and Royce Keys attacking The Usos backstage.
