Evian Championship 2026 Tee Times, Dates, TV Schedule, LPGA Prize Money
2026 has been a fantastic year for golf overall, and that most certainly includes the LPGA. Believe it or not, the women's tour is already set to hold its fourth major of the season, the Evian Championship.
The action is set to kick off on Thursday at Evian Resort Golf Club and will feature some of the world's best golfers competing for a share of the $9.1 million prize pool. That includes reigning champ Grace Kim and Haeran Ryu, who will look to claim a second straight major after winning last month's Women's PGA Championship.
Here's a look at what lies ahead, including scheduling information, broadcast info, and top contenders.

Tournament Preview

The Evian Championship, held annually in France, has become a marquee event despite not becoming a Ladies European Tour and LPGA co-sanctioned major until 2013. This year's tournament, which saw a $1.1 million increase in the total prize pool, could be bigger than ever.
Kim will look to defend her title, while Ryu will look to claim her second-straight major. Of course, the pre-tournament favorite is Nelly Korda, the world's No. 1-ranked golfer who has already claimed two majors in 2026.
Korda has won four tournaments this season, including the Chevron Championship and the U.S. Women's Open. The Evian is one of two majors (along with the Women's Open Championship) that Korda needs to complete a career grand slam. Her top competition may come from Jeeno Thitikul.
Thitikul is No. 2 in the world golf rankings and narrowly lost last year's Evian Championship in a sudden-death playoff to Kim. She has notched top-10 finishes in all five majors but is still searching for her first major win. Earning in Évian-les-Bains would be fitting after last year's finish.
"The Amundi Evian Championship has always been my favourite major," Thitikul said in a release from Rolex, a tournament sponsor. "...I would love to win it and came closest last year as everyone knows. It's just a really special place in my heart."
The list of other top contenders at the 6, 693-yard, par-72 course includes Hyo Joo Kim, who has two tournament wins this season, and Charley Hull, who tied for second at the U.S. Women's Open before missing the cut at the Women's PGA Championship.
