The Philadelphia 76ers added forward Dean Wade in free agency on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

Here's a look at Philadelphia's updated salary cap and depth chart.

ESPN's Bobby Marks provided more salary cap details:
The 76ers' desire to land Wade was apparent heading into free agency, as NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer reported that Philadelphia was expected to be among the teams interested in him on June 27.
Wade will be experiencing a change of scenery for the first time in his career, as he spent his first seven years with the Cleveland Cavaliers after initially joining the organization as an undrafted free agent in 2019.
He was able to carve out a consistent role in the Cavaliers' rotation largely due to his defense, using his 6'9" height and 6'10" wingspan to cause problems for opposing guards and forwards.
During the 2025-26 season, Wade averaged 5.8 points and 4.2 rebounds to go along with 1.5 assists per game. He shot 43.9 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from three-point territory.
Wade ended up starting in 14 of the Cavs' 18 playoff games last season, helping them advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2018.
While he only recorded 4.4 points in 22.6 minutes per game throughout the postseason, his defense on opposing stars including Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes and Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham helped Cleveland win both series matchups.
Wade's plus-5.0 net rating in the playoffs was the highest among all Cavs players (via NBA.com).
The 29-year-old will now become an important part of Philadelphia's wing rotation moving forward, as his ability to make an impact without needing the ball in his hands should make him a strong fit alongside Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid.
