Olympic Snowboarding Women's Big Air Final 2026 TV Schedule, Live Stream, Pick
On Sunday, the 30 best female snowboarders in the world put on a show in the 2026 Winter Olympics women's big air qualifier, with 12 advancing to Monday's final.
Beijing 2022 big air gold medalist Anna Gasser of Austria, silver medalist Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand and bronze medalist Kokomo Murase of Japan all qualified through for a chance to defend their podium positions at Milan Cortina 2026.
Big air sees riders do one single trick in the air, unlike the slopestyle discipline, in which riders put together a full run on a course with obstacles such as rails and jumps.
In both the qualifier and the final, riders take three runs. The scores from the two best runs are added together for the final score, but the rider must do two different tricks. A trick can have the same degrees of rotation (e.g., an 1800, or five full rotations), but if a rider spins in a different direction (frontside, backside, Cab or switch backside), it counts as a different trick.
A panel of six judges scores each run. After dropping the highest and lowest scores, the remaining four are averaged.
Here's everything you need to know to tune in to the women's snowboard big air final and who to watch when you do.

Women's Big Air Final Preview
3 of 3
In a surprise to absolutely no one, New Zealand's Zoi Sadowski-Synnott earned the highest score in the qualifier. The 24-year-old is the defending slopestyle Olympic gold medalist and took silver in big air at Beijing 2022.
Though Sadowski-Synnott successfully landed all three of her tricks, it was her switch backside 1260 on her first run that earned her the highest single score of 90.00. Her two backside double cork 1080s earned identical scores of 82.25.
Beijing 2022 big air bronze medalist Kokomo Murase finished second in qualifying, with her best trick being a frontside triple cork 1260.
Team Great Britain's Mia Brookes finished with the third-highest score in qualifying off the strength of a backside 1260 melon grab. At 19 years old, the rising star is making her Olympic debut at these Games.
There are no Americans in the 12-woman final field. Sixteen-year-old Lily Dhawornvej, making her Olympic debut, was the U.S. snowboarder who finished highest, at 20. Fellow teenage Olympic rookie Jess Perlmutter finished 23rd and Hahna Norman finished 28th.
Austria's Anna Gasser, 34, the two-time defending Olympic big air gold medalist, should make the podium again. But it's hard to bet against Sadowski-Synnott.
Medal Predictions
Gold: Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (New Zealand)
Silver: Anna Gasser (Austria)
Bronze: Kokomo Murase (Japan)
