WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Fatal 4-Way and Full Match Card Predictions
WWE returns to prime time this weekend with Saturday Night's Main Event, headlined by a massive Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the No. 1 contender to Drew McIntyre and the Undisputed WWE Championship.
That contest, featuring Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Damian Priest and Sami Zayn, will set the stage for a high-stakes championship encounter, but it's not the only prominent matchup on the card.
What else can fans expect and who will walk away victorious? Find out in this preview, featuring predictions for each of the announced contests.
Women's Tag Team Championship: Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez
1 of 3
It is too early for Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky to drop the titles, just weeks after defeating The Kabuki Warriors to win them.
While WWE will likely want to maintain Liv Morgan's momentum following her return late last year and her status as one of the women's Royal Rumble favorites, there are ways to do so and enhance her storyline with Roxanne Perez while still losing Saturday.
Morgan has oddly kept Perez, once someone she clearly did not trust around her or Dominik Mysterio, close.
She has been a cheerleader of sorts for the Prodigy, and it is only a matter of time before the other shoe drops and the former women's world champion unleashes months of pent-up frustration on her.
We could see the first hints of that on Saturday, especially if Perez loses the fall and costs Morgan championship gold.
Prediction: Sky and Ripley retain (Sky pins Perez)
Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
2 of 3
This is, arguably, the most intriguing match on the entire show.
Cody Rhodes does not lose often. The top star in the company and face of the franchise, he is often protected creatively, which means not eating unnecessary losses.
With that said, Jacob Fatu is fresh off a comeback and has looked like an unstoppable force. He factored heavily into The American Nightmare's loss of the Undisputed WWE Championship and has his own designs on the top prize.
Beating him on Saturday night would halt his momentum significantly.
So, does WWE book a crowd-deflating ending in the form of a disqualification or count-out? Does it dare go the route of a no-contest and really infuriate the audience? No.
Fatu defeats Rhodes, clean and in the center of the ring to hammer home that we should trust The Samoan Werewolf as a true threat to take the top prize in the company away from McIntyre if and when they meet again.
Rhodes will recover and should be considered a favorite to win his third men's Rumble match, a feat that would tie him with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for the most ever.
Prediction: Fatu beats Rhodes
Randy Orton vs. Damian Priest vs. Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams
3 of 3
With a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line, Randy Orton, Damian Priest, Sami Zayn and Trick Williams will battle in a high-stakes main event Saturday night at the Bell Center in Montreal.
The setting cannot be stressed enough and nor can Zayn's determination to be world champion. The hometown hero in Saturday's matchup has repeatedly expressed his desire to win a top prize in WWE and with Saturday's show taking place minutes from where he grew up, there is no better time than now to set up the match with The Scottish Warrior.
That Zayn has never beaten McIntyre (he is 0-11, as the heel likes to remind him) only adds another layer to the story.
Orton will have other opportunities and has a potential program with Williams waiting in the w ake of Saturday's show. The former NXT champion is still early in his main roster run and WWE is unlikely to roll with a heel vs. heel title match. Priest is a credible contender, and has history with McIntyre, but it feels far too early to revist that program this soon.
Zayn wins here and sets up and emotionally fueled match with his long-time rival.
Prediction: Zayn gets the big hometown win
