WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan's Son Nick Teases Wrestling Career, 'It's in the Blood'

Mike ChiariNov 21, 2025

Nick Hogan, the son of late professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, indicated this week that a wrestling career could potentially be in his future.

On Thursday, TMZ Sports asked Nick if he was considering becoming a wrestler after posting a photo of himself with NWA world television champion Bryan Idol in a ring on Instagram.

While Hogan did not confirm any plans to wrestle, he didn't shoot the possibility down either, saying, "You never know, man. It's in the blood. So, you never know."

Nick went on to say that he has "always loved the business," and that being around wrestling makes him "feel so much closer to dad."

Hulk was best known for the success he enjoyed in WWE, and Nick noted that WWE is like "family" to him.

In July, Hulk Hogan died at the age of 71, and Nick was front and center on WWE programming when the company remembered his legendary father with a 10-bell salute.

Hulk made his pro wrestling debut in 1977, but 1984 is when he truly established himself as the face of the business, as he beat The Iron Sheik for the WWE Championship.

He remained WWE's biggest draw from then until his departure in 1993, and then guided WCW to its greatest success thanks largely to his shocking heel turn and transformation into the leader of the nWo.

Hogan returned to WWE after WCW's dissolution, and he had numerous stints with the company in various roles after that, including as a wrestler and ambassador.

The Hulkster was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005, and the 12-time world champion has long been considered one of the most significant figures in pro wrestling history.

While the 35-year-old Nick Hogan hasn't yet followed in his father's footsteps, he has been in the spotlight to some degree for most of his life.

He is perhaps best known for his appearances on the popular reality series Hogan Knows Best, which followed Hulk and his family from 2005 to 2007.

Nick has also made various television appearances in the pro wrestling space, and while it has never been as an actual wrestler, his comments suggest he may at least be considering trying his hand at the business his father helped elevate for decades.
