UFC White House Card Date Revealed for Historic 2026 Event Following Photo Renderings
President Donald Trump confirmed the date for the much-hyped UFC event at the White House.
Speaking Sunday at Naval Station Norfolk, Trump said the show is set for June 14, 2026:
UFC president Dana White last month released renderings for the special setup in the nation's capital. A temporary venue is planned for the grounds of the White House:
White initially set July 4 as the tentative date, which will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. With a place on the calendar now formalized, the one-off spectacle is another step closer to reality.
The UFC has yet to announce who will be fighting at the White House, though White has said it "will be the greatest line-up ever."
In the aftermath of his TKO of Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320, light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira said he wants a heavyweight "superfight" against Jon Jones on the White House grounds. White, however, has downplayed the likelihood of Jones' involvement, citing a general lack of trust.
The UFC executive was equally dismissive of Conor McGregor as a candidate at this point.
The promotion has staged two events in Washington, D.C., in the past, with both taking place at Capital One Arena.
Dominick Cruz won a unanimous decision over Demetrious Johnson to close out a UFC Live show in 2011, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik's knockout of Alistair Overeem was the headliner for UFC on ESPN card in 2019.
