Damian Priest said this week that global music superstar Bad Bunny wants to return to a WWE ring if and when his schedule allows for it.

During an interview with TMZ Sports (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), Priest said the following about Bad Bunny's future as a WWE performer:

"I mean, it speaks for itself—the performances, the showmanship. He basically is a WWE Superstar. And as far as any chance? I mean, especially in this business, never say never. I've talked to him about it, and it's just scheduling, because obviously he has a lot going on. But he still has that itch. He loves our business, and he's had more than enough time to recover since our match. So, he's ready to come and wrestle again."

Bad Bunny, 31, is a longtime WWE fan who made his professional wrestling in-ring debut in 2021.

At WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny teamed with Priest in a winning effort against The Miz and John Morrison, and Bunny followed it up by appearing in the men's Royal Rumble match the following year.

The highlight of Bad Bunny's wrestling career to date was his match against Priest at Backlash 2023 in Bunny's homeland of Puerto Rico.

Bad Bunny won the street fight in front of his home fans, and the match was considered one of the best of the year in WWE.

Due to the success of his music career, Bad Bunny has not had another match since then, and it is fair to wonder if he will be back in WWE any time soon.

After all, he was chosen as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LX, which is set for Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 8, 2026.

It is possible Bad Bunny's schedule could open up a bit after that, and if it does, it sounds like Priest and WWE are ready to welcome him back with open arms.

Oba Femi Reportedly Still in Plans for NXT

Despite dropping the NXT Championship to Ricky Saints at No Mercy, Oba Femi reportedly may not be done with NXT yet.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlePurists), there are still plans in place for Femi in NXT moving forward, which suggests a main roster call-up may not be imminent.

However, Meltzer added that WWE often likes to keep call-ups close to the vest, so it is still possible Femi could get called up in a way meant to surprise the fans.

Femi, 27, starred in shot put at the University of Alabama before signing with WWE in late 2021 as part of the Next In Line NIL program involving college athletes.

He made his in-ring debut about one year later, and then debuted on NXT programming in 2023. Ever since then, Femi has developed into arguably the most dominant force in NXT history.

Despite his relatively limited experience, The Ruler has held the NXT Championship and North American Championship one time each, and he has only a small handful of losses on his record.

The most recent came last weekend at No Mercy when he lost a hard-fought match to Saints, ending his NXT title reign at 262 days.

When a long title reign ends in NXT, it is often the precursor to a call-up, but with Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season still a few months away, there might be a bit of time left for Femi to accomplish more in NXT.

AEW's Reported Reasoning for Re-Signing Andrade

AEW's desire for popularity in Mexico reportedly played a role in the company's decision to re-sign Andrade.

According to Meltzer (h/t WrestlePurists), AEW wanted to bring in another Hispanic star like Andrade in order to increase the promotion's presence in Mexico, particularly on the Fox Sports Mexico channel.

After departing WWE in 2021, Andrade signed with AEW shortly thereafter. He remained with AEW until his contract expired in 2023, and he subsequently went back to WWE, returning as a surprise entrant in the 2024 men's Royal Rumble match.

The former United States and NXT champion never quite reached the same heights he did during his first WWE stint, though, and he was part of a tag team with Rey Fenix by the end of his tenure.

Andrade officially left WWE again last month, with PWInsider.com (h/t Wrestle Ops) reporting that WWE parted ways with him due to multiple violations of the company's wellness policy.

It wasn't long before Andrade resurfaced in AEW, as he appeared on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega and joining the Don Callis Family.

Instantly getting thrown into a high-profile program with Omega suggests AEW has big plans for Andrade, and it is probably safe to assume he will be part of AEW's partnership with CMLL as well, giving Meltzer's report.
