Kelsey Plum, Jordin Canada Headline Unrivaled's Final Reveals for 2026 Roster

Joseph ZuckerOct 1, 2025

After withdrawing ahead of its inaugural season, Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum is ready to suit up for Unrivaled.

The four-time WNBA All-Star confirmed to The Athletic's Sabreena Merchant she's taking part this winter.

"Last year wasn't the time for me to play, I just needed to rest, just really reset," she said. "I'm in a different place in my life now and I'm just really excited to go out to Miami and ball out."

Plum delivered one of the biggest blockbusters of the 2025 offseason when she signaled her intention to leave the Aces after seven seasons. Her exit resulted in a sign-and-trade that saw Jewell Loyd land in Vegas.

The Sparks were unable to fulfill their playoff ambitions, but Plum at least occupied the starring role she sought away from the Aces. She finished as the team leader in points (19.5) and assists (5.7).

Knee and hamstring injuries limited Canada to 28 games for the Dream, who tied for the WNBA's second-best record (30-10). When healthy, the 5'6" playmaker remained a solid two-way presence. She averaged 11.2 points, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals.

Shooting continued to be Canada's biggest flaw. She finished under 40 percent (39.6) for the fourth time in five years and hit only 29.1 percent of her three-point opportunities.

Still, her work at the other end of the floor helped Atlanta finish second in defensive rating (98.9), per WNBA.com.

After struggling to carve out a role in the Seattle Storm's rotation, Li benefited from a midseason change of scenery. She averaged 7.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in 20 minutes per game.

Li's season came to an abrupt end, though, due to an ACL sprain in her left knee in August.

Since she'll be a reserved free agent, Dallas will have exclusive negotiating rights with the 26-year-old this offseason. Given what she delivered, the Wings will presumably be eager to bring her back in 2026.

Evans made quite the upgrade when she swapped the Chicago Sky for the Aces. Whereas the Sky tied for the WNBA's worst record (10-34), Las Vegas is in the Finals for the third time in four years.

Chicago could've used Evans off the bench, too, after Courtney Vandersloot suffered a season-ending torn ACL. She averaged 6.6 points and 2.2 assists in 17.7 minutes per night while appearing in every regular season game.

Unrivaled players will begin making the trek to Miami within the next few months ahead of the season's Jan. 5 start.

The number of teams competing in the league has grown from six to eight, which had a corresponding effect on the roster pool. Forty-eight stars will be taking part, up from an initial 36 in 2025.
