
Bodybuilding Champion Hayley McNeff Dies at Age 37
Former competitive bodybuilder Hayley McNeff died at the age of 37 last week.
An obituary posted Tuesday on Boston.com stated that McNeff died on Aug. 8, adding that her death was "unexpected but peaceful."
McNeff, who was born and raised in Concord, Massachusetts, was a bodybuilding champion, winning state titles in Maryland and Delaware. She was also featured in the 2005 bodybuilding documentary Raising the Bar, per People.com's Luke Chinman.

Described as a "lifelong athlete" in her obituary, McNeff also competed in equestrian, board diving and skiing.
McNeff was also a fitness influencer, and after retiring from bodybuilding, she pursued a graduate degree in psychology. She previously graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The obituary lauded McNeff for her "quick wit and constant sense of humor," as well as her "energy and determination."
