Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm are all within striking distance as well.

Jhonattan Vegas Keeps Lead Despite Late Hiccup
2 of 4
Jhonattan Vegas kept the advantage he gained after a remarkable first round.
The Venezuelan had a near-perfect second round for someone with little to no experience leading a major tournament.
Vegas rolled in four birdies and produced 11 pars following a bogey on the second hole.
Everything seemed to be going well until he carded a double bogey on the 18th hole.
Prior to the double bogey, Vegas held a four-shot lead on the rest of the field.
He's still in the lead going into Saturday's third round, but he's only two shots ahead a trio of golfers.
The error on the final hole could affect Vegas' start on Saturday, and if it does, it could open up the entire tournament.
Max Homa, Si Woo Kim Card Low Rounds To Surge Into Contention
3 of 4
Max Homa and Si Woo Kim both carded seven-under 64s to surge to the first page of the leaderboard on Friday.
Homa was in sole possession of Friday's low round for quite some time after he shot a 64 out of one of the first groups.
Homa carded four birdies and an eagle on the back nine. He was close to a hole-in-one on the par-four 14th with an incredible tee shot.
The 34-year-old had to battle more on the front nine with six pars, two birdies and a bogey.
Homa's round was similar to Kim's because they each rolled in a ton of birdies and produced a signature shot.
Kim produced a hole-in-one on the par-three sixth hole to leapfrog into contention for the Wanamaker Trophy.
The South Korean followed that up with a birdie on the seventh hole that moved him up to six-under for the tournament. Kim finished with six birdies, an eagle and a single bogey.
The pair of 64s were far better than the scores most of the field produced. Only Matthieu Pavon produced a score below 67 among the rest of the competitors.
Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele Battle To Make Cut
4 of 4
Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele battled to stay around for the weekend.
McIlroy had all sorts of shapes on his scorecard with six birdies and four bogeys.
The final two bogeys occurred on the 17th and 18th holes and landed McIlroy squarely on the cut line at one-over.
McIlroy had two stretches of back-to-back birdies and one spell with three birdies in four holes, but he also had consecutive bogeys on two occasions.
Schauffele had a steadier hand on the course with 12 pars, but it took him until his 10th hole of the day to roll in a birdie.
The reigning PGA champion produced three birdies between the 10th and 15th holes to rally above the cut line.
McIlroy and Schauffele will be out early on Saturday, and if they want to contend on Sunday, they need to be more consistent during the third round.
