We wrap it all up with each club's 2015 preseason schedule.
So here's some one-stop shopping for all of us anxious for this NFL thing to get started for real.
Arizona Cardinals
1 of 32
Site: University of Phoenix Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.)
Rookies Report: July 28
Veterans Report: July 31
Player to Watch: WR John Brown
What to Watch For:
The team looks to build on last season's 9-1 start and playoff appearance rather than the fact that it ran out of gas (and players) down the stretch. There could be some interesting battles across the offensive line, where right guard Jonathan Cooper could face a challenge from Earl Watford. The Cardinals have added their share of defensive free agents, such as linebackers Sean Weatherspoon and LaMarr Woodley, as well as defensive linemen Corey Peters and Cory Redding and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard. New defensive coordinator James Bettcher has some big shoes to fill in taking over for Todd Bowles.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 15 | Kansas City | 9:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | San Diego | 10:00 p.m. |
Aug. 30 | at Oakland | 8:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Denver | 9:00 p.m. |
Atlanta Falcons
2 of 32
Site: Flowery Branch Training Facility (Flowery Branch, Ga.)
Rookies Report: July 30
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: DE/OLB Vic Beasley
What to Watch For:
Led by new head coach Dan Quinn, the Atlanta Falcons look to improve on a combined 10 wins from the past two seasons. One of the focuses will be on a pass rush that's managed just 54 sacks in its last 32 contests, including just 22 sacks in 2014. You could see first-round pick Vic Beasley on the line and at linebacker this season, while free-agent additions Brooks Reed and Adrian Clayborn hope to help the cause, as well. As far as the running game, it will be interesting to see who gets the bulk of carries between Devonta Freeman and talented rookie Tevin Coleman.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | Tennessee | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 21 | at N.Y. Jets | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | at Miami | 7:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Baltimore | 7:00 p.m. |
Baltimore Ravens
3 of 32
Under Armour Performance Center (Owings Mills, Md.)
Rookies Report: July 22
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: TE Maxx Williams
What to Watch For:
This past season, the Baltimore Ravens featured one of the most improved ground attacks in the league thanks to a bolstered offensive line and running back Justin Forsett, and it helped propel the team to the postseason. But issues in the secondary would prove to be the team's undoing, especially in the playoffs. Former first-round pick Matt Elam has to step up his game at strong safety, while cornerback Kyle Arrington and free safety Kendrick Lewis could help. Quarterback Joe Flacco has some promising talent in rookie pass-catchers Breshad Perriman and Maxx Williams.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | New Orleans | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | at Philadelphia | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | Washington | 7:30 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Atlanta | 7:00 p.m. |
Buffalo Bills
4 of 32
St. John Fisher College (Pittsford, N.Y.)
Rookies Report: July 30
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: QB EJ Manuel
What to Watch For:
There's been a lot of buzz in Orchard Park, New York, this offseason as the Buffalo Bills come off their first winning season since 2004 and are hopeful of reaching the playoffs for the first time since 1999. The trade that brought three-time Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy to the team is good news for an offense that ranked 25th in rushing this past season. Is third-year quarterback EJ Manuel ready to take control of the offense? If not, veteran Matt Cassel lies in waiting. Finally, new head coach Rex Ryan hopes to turn a very good defensive unit into a fearsome entity.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | Carolina | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 20 | at Cleveland | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | Pittsburgh | 4:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Detroit | 7:30 p.m. |
Carolina Panthers
5 of 32
Site: Wofford College (Spartanburg, S.C.)
Rookies Report: July 30
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: LT Michael Oher
What to Watch For:
This past season, the Carolina Panthers survived a choppy campaign to win the NFC South with a 7-8-1 record. The team needs to develop more consistency on offense and pick up where they left off on defense. A big issue from a year ago was the play at left tackle, hence Byron Bell was not re-signed, and the club is hoping veteran Michael Oher (or perhaps Jonathan Martin) can fill that hole. Due in part to Greg Hardy's absence, the Panthers pass rush dipped from 60 sacks in 2013 to 40 sacks one year ago. Second-round wideout Devin Funchess bears watching.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | at Buffalo | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | Miami | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 28 | New England | 7:30 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Pittsburgh | 7:30 p.m. |
Chicago Bears
6 of 32
Site: Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais, Ill.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: OLB Jared Allen
What to Watch For:
It's been a rough few years for the Chicago Bears, especially on the defensive side of the football. New head coach John Fox and new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio hope to resolve those issues with the latter's version of the 3-4. Newcomers include outside linebacker Pernell McPhee, inside linebacker Mason Foster and strong safety Antrel Rolle, but how will incumbents such as Jared Allen, Lamarr Houston and Willie Young fare at outside linebacker? Rookie wideout Kevin White hopes to give talented but mistake-prone quarterback Jay Cutler another option.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | Miami | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | at Indianapolis | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | at Cincinnati | 7:30 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Cleveland | 8:00 p.m. |
Cincinnati Bengals
7 of 32
Paul Brown Stadium (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Rookies Report: July 27
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: RB Jeremy Hill
What to Watch For:
Reaching the playoffs has become an afterthought for the Cincinnati Bengals, who have gone to the postseason four straight years. But does anyone think that quarterback Andy Dalton is the man to lead them to a playoff win? The team spent the offseason bringing back former Bengals such as defensive end Michael Johnson, defensive tackle Pat Sims and cornerback Brandon Ghee. Can they help a defense that went from third in the NFL in 2013 to 22nd this past season? And Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard make for a very dangerous combination at running back.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | N.Y. Giants | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 24 | at Tampa Bay | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | Chicago | 7:30 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Indianapolis | 7:00 p.m. |
Cleveland Browns
8 of 32
Cleveland Browns Training Complex (Berea, Ohio)
Rookies Report: July 22
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: QB Josh McCown
What to Watch For:
This may be a case of who you don't see. The Cleveland Browns won't have wide receiver Josh Gordon due to a season-long suspension, and former Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron signed with the Miami Dolphins. How much time will second-year quarterback Johnny Manziel spend on the field? Already led by left tackle Joe Thomas, center Alex Mack and promising second-year guard Joel Bitonio, the offensive line could be imposing with first-round pick Cameron Erving in the lineup. Can journeyman quarterback Josh McCown rebound from a rough year?
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | Washington | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 20 | Buffalo | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | at Tampa Bay | 7:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Chicago | 8:00 p.m. |
Dallas Cowboys
9 of 32
Site: River Ridge Playing Fields (Oxnard, Calif.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: WR Terrance Williams
What to Watch For:
When it comes to the Dallas Cowboys, we know we won't be seeing defensive end Greg Hardy and middle linebacker Rolando McClain for the first four games of the season due to suspensions. There's also no running back DeMarco Murray (now of the Philadelphia Eagles), so it will be up to incumbents Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar, as well as free-agent pickup Darren McFadden, to make up for those league-high 1,845 rushing yards of a year ago. When will we see wide receiver Dez Bryant? Third-year wideout Terrance Williams could be a much bigger factor this upcoming season.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | at San Diego | 10:00 p.m. |
Aug. 23 | at San Francisco | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | Minnesota | 7:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Houston | 8:00 p.m. |
Denver Broncos
10 of 32
Paul D. Bowlen Memorial Broncos Centre (Englewood, Colo.)
Rookies Report: July 27
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: NT Sylvester Williams
What to Watch For:
In 2014, the Denver Broncos ranked fourth in the NFL in yards gained, second in scoring with 482 points and third in the league in fewest yards allowed, but that still wasn't good enough to get back to the AFC title game, much less a Super Bowl. Veteran quarterback Peyton Manning appears to be healthy, but is the offensive line in front of him up to standards? Denver's defense is now under the guidance of Wade Phillips and must make a bigger difference. New head coach Gary Kubiak will stress the running game, but is C.J. Anderson ready to be the team's workhorse?
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | at Seattle | 10:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | at Houston | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | San Francisco | 9:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Arizona | 9:00 p.m. |
Detroit Lions
11 of 32
Site: Detroit Lions Training Facility (Allen Park, Mich.)
Rookies Report: July 28
Veterans Report: Aug. 2
Player to Watch: DT Haloti Ngata
What to Watch For:
Coming off a season in which the club lacked consistency scoring points, the Detroit Lions figure to be more effective on this side of the ball as offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi begins his second season with the team. But now, it's the defensive line that's in question, something that seemed unfathomable a year ago. We'll see how much of an immediate impact defensive tackles Haloti Ngata, Tyrunn Walker, Caraun Reid and rookie Gabe Wright can make this summer and fall. A revived running game (28th in the NFL in 2014) would do wonders for Matthew Stafford.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | N.Y. Jets | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 20 | at Washington | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 28 | at Jacksonville | 8:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Buffalo | 7:30 p.m. |
Green Bay Packers
12 of 32
Site: St. Norbert College (De Pere, Wis.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: WR Davante Adams
What to Watch For:
The Green Bay Packers spent this offseason re-signing their best players and making sure very few got away. While they led the NFL in scoring in 2014, their defense remains suspect in terms of stopping the run. Can nose tackle B.J. Raji bounce back from a lost season (torn biceps) and help solve those issues? The offensive line came a long way this past year, and that unit and running back Eddie Lacy could be primed for bigger things. The Packers pass rush managed a solid 41 sacks, but could it be even better if Mike Neal pushes Nick Perry out of the starting lineup?
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | at New England | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 23 | at Pittsburgh | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | Philadelphia | 8:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | New Orleans | 7:00 p.m. |
Houston Texans
13 of 32
Houston Methodist Training Center (Houston, Texas)
Rookies Report: July 26
Veterans Report: July 31
Player to Watch: OLB Jadeveon Clowney
What to Watch For:
While some may think the Houston Texans will open the season with free-agent pickup Brian Hoyer at quarterback, don't be surprised if he's pushed harder than expected by Ryan Mallet. This is a team that has a young and emerging offensive line, effective runners in Arian Foster and Alfred Blue and a new-look receiving corps featuring Cecil Shorts, Nate Washington and rookie Jaelen Strong but minus veteran Andre Johnson. New nose tackle Vince Wilfork brings 11 years of experience to a defense that was just 10th versus the run in 2014.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 15 | San Francisco | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | Denver | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 30 | at New Orleans | 4:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Dallas | 8:00 p.m. |
Indianapolis Colts
14 of 32
Anderson University (Anderson, Ind.)
Rookies Report: Aug. 1
Veterans Report: Aug. 1
Player to Watch: RB Frank Gore
What to Watch For:
The Indianapolis Colts still have plenty of young and talented faces such as Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton, Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener. Now, that group from the draft class of 2012 is joined by veteran free agents such as Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Trent Cole and Todd Herremans. Gore may be the most important of that quartet as he attempts to alleviate some of the burden on Luck and erase memories of the disappointing Trent Richardson. The Colts defense showed some promise at times this past season but was overwhelmed by the better offenses in the NFL.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 16 | at Philadelphia | 1:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | Chicago | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | at St. Louis | 8:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Cincinnati | 7:00 p.m. |
Jacksonville Jaguars
15 of 32
Florida Blue Health and Wellness Practice Fields (Jacksonville, Fla.)
Rookies Report: July 27
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: RB T.J. Yeldon
What to Watch For:
A total of 14 wins in four years isn't anything to celebrate, but you could see the Jacksonville Jaguars making strides this past season. Now, we will watch and see if second-year quarterback Blake Bortles and his group of young wide receivers (Allen Robinson, Marqise Lee, etc.) can grow together. The addition of two-time Pro Bowl tight end Julius Thomas (24 touchdowns the past two seasons) is a plus, but new right tackle Jermey Parnell must help the team improve on an NFL-high 71 sacks allowed in 2014. Could rookie guard A.J. Cann push left guard Zane Beadles?
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | Pittsburgh | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | at N.Y. Giants | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 28 | Detroit | 8:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Washington | 7:30 p.m. |
Kansas City Chiefs
16 of 32
Site: Missouri Western State University (St. Joseph, Mo.)
Rookies Report: July 28
Veterans Report: July 31
Player to Watch: WR De'Anthony Thomas
What to Watch For:
From 11-5 and a playoff appearance, to 9-7 and a close miss in terms of a return to the postseason, to perhaps an enigma this year, the Kansas City Chiefs have more question marks than answers entering training camp. There are plenty of new looks at wide receiver, led by Jeremy Maclin, a former pupil of head coach Andy Reid. We are also waiting to see when All-Pro outside linebacker Justin Houston shows up and signs his franchise tender. The Chiefs offensive line has also been tweaked with additions like former Pro Bowl guard Ben Grubbs, acquired via trade from the Saints.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 15 | at Arizona | 9:00 p.m. |
Aug. 21 | Seattle | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 28 | Tennessee | 8:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at St. Louis | 8:00 p.m. |
Miami Dolphins
17 of 32
Site: Doctors Hospital Training Facility (Davie, Fla.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: DT Ndamukong Suh
What to Watch For:
Once again, the Miami Dolphins were among the winners when it comes to the NFL offseason. Now if this club could only translate that into regular-season victories. The team grabbed the big free-agent prize in the form of defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, but could starter Earl Mitchell be pushed by free-agent pickup C.J. Mosley, who played with Suh in Detroit? Miami's new-look pass-catching corps includes wideouts Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills and tight end Jordan Cameron. Now, can this camp teach the Dolphins how to play good football in December?
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | at Chicago | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | at Carolina | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | Atlanta | 7:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | Tampa Bay | 7:00 p.m. |
Minnesota Vikings
18 of 32
Site: Minnesota State University, Mankato (Mankato, Minn.)
Rookies Report: July 25
Veterans Report: July 25
Player to Watch: WR Mike Wallace
What to Watch For:
There's plenty of anticipation regarding the return of Adrian Peterson to the Minnesota Vikings' starting lineup this September. But there is also a lot of curiosity when it comes to the addition of veteran wide receiver Mike Wallace, who went from a Pro Bowler in Pittsburgh to a highly paid disappointment in Miami. Now he joins the Purple Gang and hopes to give young quarterback Teddy Bridgewater a reliable big-play target. The team added linebacker Eric Kendricks in the second round, and it will be fun to see him reunited with former UCLA teammate Anthony Barr.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 9 | vs. Pittsburgh | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 15 | Tampa Bay | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | Oakland | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | at Dallas | 7:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Tennessee | 8:00 p.m. |
New England Patriots
19 of 32
Site: Gillette Stadium (Foxborough, Mass.)
Rookies Report: July 23
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: CB Logan Ryan
What to Watch For:
If you haven't learned by now not to count out the New England Patriots until they have been mathematically eliminated, then you just aren't paying attention. But what should we make of the defending Super Bowl champions on defense? There's no Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner or Vince Wilfork, who are all with different teams, and the releases of Kyle Arrington and Alfonzo Dennard also hurt the team at cornerback in terms of depth. We're still not sure when we will see quarterback Tom Brady, but he no longer has running back Shane Vereen to throw the football to.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | Green Bay | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | at New Orleans | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 28 | at Carolina | 7:30 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | N.Y. Giants | 7:30 p.m. |
New Orleans Saints
20 of 32
Site: The Greenbrier (White Sulpher Springs, W.Va.)
Rookies Report: July 22
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: FS Jairus Byrd
What to Watch For:
How difficult will it be for the New Orleans Saints to make up for the departures of tight end Jimmy Graham, guard Ben Grubbs, wide receiver Kenny Stills and running back Pierre Thomas? That's a lot of offensive talent for a team that proved to be woeful on defense this past season. Can a healthy Jairus Byrd at free safety improve a club that managed only 17 takeaways in 2014 while giving up the second-most total yards in the league? Head coach Sean Payton wants Drew Brees (20 turnovers) to be more careful with the ball, which could mean more Mark Ingram.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 13 | at Baltimore | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | New England | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 30 | Houston | 4:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at Green Bay | 7:00 p.m. |
New York Giants
21 of 32
Site: Quest Diagnostics Training Center (East Rutherford, N.J.)
Rookies Report: July 30
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: LT Ereck Flowers
What to Watch For:
Could this really be quarterback Eli Manning's final season with the New York Giants? We are a long way from such a notion, but the 12th-year signal-caller is in the final year of his latest contract. The two-time Super Bowl champion looks to build on last season's showing of 30 touchdown passes and just 14 interceptions. He'll now have running back Shane Vereen as an outlet receiver, making Odell Beckham Jr. and a healthy Victor Cruz even more dangerous. But coordinator Steve Spagnuolo has some work to do to fix the NFL's 29th-ranked defense.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | at Cincinnati | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 22 | Jacksonville | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | N.Y. Jets | 7:00 p.m. |
Sept. 3 | at New England | 7:30 p.m. |
New York Jets
22 of 32
Site: Atlantic Health Training Center (Florham Park, N.J.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: DL Leonard Williams
What to Watch For:
We haven't seen the New York Jets in the playoffs since they reached the AFC title game in consecutive seasons (2009-10). New head coach Todd Bowles hopes that coordinator Chan Gailey has quarterback Geno Smith on the right path and that the addition of wide receiver Brandon Marshall helps. There won't be any training camp battles at cornerback with the signings of Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine. The Jets must also have rookie Leonard Williams ready to replace suspended defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson for the first four games of the season.

Oakland Raiders
23 of 32
Site: Napa Valley Marriott (Napa, Calif.)
Rookies Report: July 26
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: RB Latavius Murray
What to Watch For:
It's been a long time since the Oakland Raiders managed to post a winning season and/or reach the playoffs (2002), but could this be the year they manage one of those feats? There's a lot of young talent on offense with quarterback Derek Carr, rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper and running back Latavius Murray, who hopes to help the team improve the league's worst ground attack from 2014. The defense didn't have a lot of oomph in terms of sacks (22) and takeaways (14) last year, but additions such as defensive tackle Dan Williams and safety Nate Allen help.
2015 Preseason Schedule:

Philadelphia Eagles
24 of 32
Site: NovaCare Complex (Philadelphia, Pa.)
Rookies Report: Aug. 1
Veterans Report: Aug. 1
Player to Watch: CB Eric Rowe
What to Watch For:
We'll skip all the duck jokes and get to the heart of the matter when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles. Just who will emerge as the team's season-long answer at quarterback: Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow? There's a new-look running game with DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews, but both need to stay healthy. The defense has had its issues in recent years, and this past season, the club gave up 30 touchdown passes despite totaling 49 sacks. Cornerbacks Byron Maxwell and Walter Thurmond hope to make amends for those aforementioned issues.
2015 Preseason Schedule:

Pittsburgh Steelers
25 of 32
Site: Saint Vincent College (Latrobe, Pa.)
Rookies Report: July 25
Veterans Report: July 25
Player to Watch: WR Martavis Bryant
What to Watch For:
Priority one for the Pittsburgh Steelers during this camp is shoring up a secondary that was a mess in 2014. The team allowed the sixth-most passing yards in the league and gave up 30 scores through the air this past season. Can rookie cornerbacks Senquez Golson and Doran Grant help sooner than later? On the other side of the ball, head coach Mike Tomlin and offensive coordinator Todd Haley must get running back DeAngelo Williams ready to open the season in place of suspended All-Pro Le'Veon Bell for no more than three games (pending appeal).
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 9 | vs. Minnesota | 8:00 p.m. |

St. Louis Rams
26 of 32
Site: Rams Park (Earth City, Mo.)
Rookies Report: July 27
Veterans Report: July 31
Player to Watch: QB Nick Foles
What to Watch For:
All we have heard in recent years is that the St. Louis Rams are just a capable quarterback away from getting back to the playoffs for the first time since 2004. Well, gone is injury-prone Sam Bradford, and enter former Pro Bowler Nick Foles, who hopes to gel with a wide receiving corps that has yet to break out. The defense overcame a sluggish start a year ago and excelled in the second half of 2014. General manager Les Snead added four offensive linemen in this year's draft and another (Isaiah Battle) in the supplemental draft. That should give you a hint.
2015 Preseason Schedule:

San Diego Chargers
27 of 32
Site: Chargers Park (San Diego, Calif.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: RB Melvin Gordon
What to Watch For:
Back-to-back 9-7 showings for the San Diego Chargers have produced one playoff appearance and one close miss. This season, the organization made just enough moves to perhaps ensure a return to the postseason and a chance to unseat the Denver Broncos in the AFC West. The additions of wide receivers Jacoby Jones and Stevie Johnson help quarterback Philip Rivers, while Jones is also a huge addition to the special teams. The Bolts went through five starting centers in 2014 and a few running backs. The latter issue could be rectified via rookie Melvin Gordon.

San Francisco 49ers
28 of 32
Site: Marie P. DeBartolo Sports Center (Santa Clara, Calif.)
Rookies Report: July 27
Veterans Report: July 31
Player to Watch: ILB NaVorro Bowman
What to Watch For:
The San Francisco 49ers and former coach Jim Harbaugh parted ways after an 8-8 season, but the team promoted within when it came to head coach (Jim Tomsula), offensive coordinator (Geep Chryst) and defensive coordinator (Eric Mangini). Quarterback Colin Kaepernick comes off an uneven year, but a once-heralded offensive line also needs to make amends for a disappointing campaign. The defense still has NaVorro Bowman, Aldon Smith and plenty of young talent. Can tight end Vernon Davis bounce back from a forgettable 2014? Wideout Torrey Smith was a big-time addition.

Seattle Seahawks
29 of 32
Site: Virginia Mason Athletic Center (Renton, Wash.)
Rookies Report: July 30
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: TE Jimmy Graham
What to Watch For:
The Seattle Seahawks aim to become the first team since the Buffalo Bills of the early 1990s to reach three consecutive Super Bowls. They will do it with a new and potent weapon in three-time Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham—he of 386 catches and 51 touchdowns the past five seasons. The Seahawks took a few shots in free agency, but veteran cornerback Cary Williams should be a nice fit with Byron Maxwell moving on. There will be more contract talk regarding quarterback Russell Wilson, but it's nice to know he's signed and sealed for 2015.
2015 Preseason Schedule:
Date | Opponent | Time (ET) |
Aug. 14 | Denver | 10:00 p.m. |
Aug. 21 | at Kansas City | 8:00 p.m. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
30 of 32
Site: One Buccaneer Place (Tampa, Fla.)
Rookies Report: July 27
Veterans Report: July 31
Player to Watch: QB Jameis Winston
What to Watch For:
Remember when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were 6-4 after 10 games in 2012? They've dropped 31 of 38 contests and a head coach since. Hope may be renewed with the selection of quarterback Jameis Winston in April, and so far so good for the former Heisman Trophy winner. It will be intriguing to see how fast rookie offensive linemen in left tackle Donovan Smith and right guard Ali Marpet fit in. Head coach Lovie Smith is also hoping that running back Doug Martin can recapture his impressive rookie form. The defense has its share of new faces.
2015 Preseason Schedule:

Aug. 15 | at Minnesota | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 24 | Cincinnati | 8:00 p.m. |

Tennessee Titans
31 of 32
Site: Saint Thomas Sports Park (Nashville, Tenn.)
Rookies Report: July 30
Veterans Report: July 30
Player to Watch: QB Marcus Mariota
What to Watch For:
Because the Tennessee Titans closed 2014 with a 10-game losing streak, the preseason may be particularly important for head coach Ken Whisenhunt in terms of getting this club into a winning mindset. There's excitement regarding rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota, but it's somewhat tempered by the fact that he remains unsigned. Defensive wizard Dick LeBeau was added to the coaching staff, and outside linebacker Brian Orakpo, cornerback Perrish Cox and free safety Da'Norris Searcy were added to the lineup. Is Bishop Sankey ready to revive the Titans ground attack?
2015 Preseason Schedule:

Aug. 14 | at Atlanta | 7:00 p.m. |
Aug. 23 | St. Louis | 8:00 p.m. |
Aug. 28 | at Kansas City | 8:00 p.m. |

Washington Redskins
32 of 32
Site: Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center (Richmond, Va.)
Rookies Report: July 29
Veterans Report: July 29
Player to Watch: OLB Trent Murphy
What to Watch For:
As usual, most eyes will be on quarterback Robert Griffin III when the Washington Redskins take to camp in two weeks. But what bears more attention is a revamped defensive line under new defensive coordinator Joe Barry. There are also new faces in the secondary in the form of cornerback Chris Culliver and free safety Dashon Goldson, a pair of one-time teammates who look to aid a defense that allowed an NFL-high 35 touchdown passes in 2014. Promising first-round pick Brandon Scherff takes over at right tackle, but is the rest of the offensive line set?
2015 Preseason Schedule:

Aug. 20 | Detroit | 7:30 p.m. |
Aug. 29 | at Baltimore | 7:30 p.m. |
