WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from June 3
When Rhyno lost to Baron Corbin at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, it felt as though the Detroit native had done what he came to do, putting over the young unstoppable force, thus elevating him up the card. It was an admirable job by an industry veteran and one that cemented him as one of the most giving stars of his generation.
But The Man Beast was not finished, as fans witnessed Wednesday night.
After a hard-fought contest with Finn Balor, Rhyno accelerated up the ramp and delivered a vicious Gore to Balor that left the No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship in need of assistance just to get back to his feet.

Triple H Responds to Fan Criticism 🤷
Frustrated with the recent string of losses, Rhyno made it abundantly clear that he will be no man's stepping stone, and to do so, he targeted one of the best NXT had to offer, making the former ECW champion the night's biggest winner.
Who else found themselves in the role of winner, garnering momentum for themselves ahead of what should be a monumental show on July 4 from Japan, as announced by William Regal? And who was less lucky, suffering a defeat or delivering a performance that threatened to derail them as the summer kicks into full gear?
Find out now with this look at the biggest winners, losers and moments from the June 3 episode of NXT.
Loser: Eva Marie
Despite the fact that she has been training almost daily alongside former WWE Tag Team champion Brian Kendrick out in California, Eva Marie returned to the airwaves Wednesday night, greeted with the most vocal and negative reaction of any Superstar or Diva in recent memory.
The fans drowned out her promo with obnoxious boos and chants of "you can't wrestle," which would be an indictment of Kendrick if anything at this point.
The crowd was almost needlessly mean, not even giving her the opportunity to put over the NXT Divas like she was attempting to do.
It was a bad promo made all the worse by what appeared to be incredible discomfort on the microphone.
The entire segment was unfortunate because it was well documented that Eva Marie was working hard to improve her in-ring game, a fact that can be supported by her willingness to step away and train privately with Kendrick rather than at the Performance Center.
Unfortunately, the wrong decision was made to put her out in front of the live audience rather than allow her to cut the promo backstage, where she would not have had to fight the incessant jeers of the NXT fans.
Wednesday night was definitely an example of a typically awesome crowd reacting like petulant children.
Winner: Carmella
When she first arrived on the scene, Carmella was greeted with some of the same venomous reactions that Eva Marie was Wednesday night. No more, though, as the NXT faithful have gotten behind the Staten Island Princess as she supports Enzo Amore and Big Cass in their quest to capture the tag team titles.
On Wednesday night, she pummeled Alexa Bliss, showing some of the same fire that her male associates do when they compete inside the squared circle, and was greeted with cheers from the NXT Universe.
Though she lost to Bliss via chicanery, it may very well have been a watershed moment for Carmella, who is progressing nicely inside the squared circle and even more so as a babyface.
Winners: The Vaudevillains
Aiden English and Simon Gotch may have missed months of televised ring time, but this week, they were welcomed back with open arms and chants of "put your dukes up" as they set foot inside the squared circle for their match with Jason Jordan and Marcus Louis.
The team was fresh and worked well, and English looked particularly fired up to be back in front of the Full Sail University.
The match was nothing spectacular, but just having the popular tandem back energized the fans and breathed some life back into a tag team division that, at this point, really only has three quality teams.
Winner: Finn Balor
The Irishman and No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship moved one step closer to achieving his goal of capturing the title when general manager William Regal announced that on July 4, from the Tokyo Dome in Japan, he will challenge Kevin Owens.
Balor spent the majority of his career building his reputation in Japan, both as a singles competitor and a founding member of the Bullet Club. That he gets the opportunity to return there and capture the title that has thus far eluded him has got to be incredibly special for the man who is, arguably, the most popular star on the brand at this point.
