NXT star Lexis King and former WWE colleague Carolina Cruz became engaged over the weekend.

Video of King's proposal was shared on social media:

Cruz called it "one of the most special days of my life."

"I always wondered what it would feel like to find the kind of love you see in the movies… and somehow, I got lucky enough to live it," she wrote on Instagram.

"You came into my life when I least expected it and became my best friend, my safe place, and the person I want beside me through every version of this life. Loving you has always felt easy, natural, and like something God had already written for me long before we ever met.

"And somehow, even on a day that was supposed to be about celebrating you, you found a way to make it one of the most special days of my life. That is so perfectly you — selfless, thoughtful, and always finding ways to make the people you love feel special."

King and Cruz began dating when they were both training at the WWE Performance Center.
