2015 NFL Mock Draft 7 Rounds: Projections for Every Pick of This Year's Class
Mere hours separate the globe from the 2015 NFL draft, where the league will march through 256 selections.
There, each team will put years of hard work to bed as front offices attempt to squeeze the most out of each selection, praying for a safe bet or sleeper as opposed to a bust.
Draft success being the barometer between success and failure in the league—just ask the Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson, a third-round pick—the next three days are the most important of the entire calendar.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Before things get underway, let's take one final look at a full seven-round mock draft, the picks based on team need first, then prospect stock and value at each slot.

| 32 | 32 | New England | Byron Jones, CB, UConn |
Notable Pick: No. 24, Arizona Cardinals, Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
In most years, a running back wouldn't come off the board in the first round.
But this isn't most years thanks to Georgia's Todd Gurley, and it's not most years for the Arizona Cardinals.
Coach Bruce Arians and the Cardinals need to be all-in around veteran quarterback Carson Palmer, especially with the San Francisco 49ers reeling and the Seattle Seahawks needing to reload.
Frank Cooney of CBSSports.com explains why Gurley is such a great fit in the desert:
"Gurley is recovering from a torn ACL but when healthy boasts a combination of power, balance and acceleration that has earned comparisons to the Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch. His ability to churn out the tough yards inside, break big gainers and haul in passes out of the backfield would nicely complement the Cardinals' downfield passing attack.
"
Going all-in means getting a star back one year removed from Andre Ellington leading the team in rushing with 660 yards and three scores. The Marshawn Lynch comparisons aren't an exaggeration, either, with Gurley being the rarest prospect the league has seen in years.
Round 2
| 1 | 33 | Tennessee | Jake Fisher, OT,Oregon |
| 2 | 34 | Tampa Bay | Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami (Fla.) |
| 3 | 35 | Oakland | Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF |

| 5 | 37 | New York Jets | Shane Ray, DE, Missouri |
| 6 | 38 | Washington | Eric Rowe, CB, Utah |
| 7 | 39 | Chicago | Jordan Phillips, DT,Oklahoma |
| 8 | 40 | New York Giants | Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State |
| 9 | 41 | St. Louis | Cameron Erving, C, Florida State |
| 10 | 42 | Atlanta | D.J. Humphries , OT, Florida |
| 11 | 43 | Cleveland | Phillip Dorsett, WR,Miami (Fla.) |
| 12 | 44 | New Orleans | Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA |
| 13 | 45 | Minnesota | Jalen Collins, CB, LSU |
| 14 | 46 | San Francisco | T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh |
| 15 | 47 | Miami | Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana |
| 16 | 48 | San Diego | Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA |
| 17 | 49 | Kansas City | Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami (Ohio) |
| 18 | 50 | Buffalo | Carl Davis , DT, Iowa |

| 31 | 63 | Seattle | Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon |
| 32 | 64 | New England | Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State |
Notable Pick: No. 34, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami (Fla.)

What a bargain, right?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got their guy with Jameis Winston in the first round and turn around near the top of the second and get a prototype left tackle if brought along in a proper manner.
It's only natural for first-round talent to fall down the board in a class so deep at wideout and edge defenders, and Ereck Flowers seems a natural fit to take a bit of a tumble thanks to his raw skill set in comparison to some of his more pro-ready counterparts.
Tampa Bay won't complain, as all the Buccaneers have on the right edge at the moment is 2014 fifth-round pick Kevin Pamphile after the failed Anthony Collins experiment.
Round 3
| 1 | 65 | Tampa Bay | Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn |
| 2 | 66 | Tennessee | Danielle Hunter, DE, LSU |
| 3 | 67 | Jacksonville | Jay Ajayi, RB, Boise State |
| 4 | 68 | Oakland | Donovan Smith, OT, Penn State |
| 5 | 69 | Washington | Ali Marpet, OG , Hobart |
| 6 | 70 | New York Jets | Devin Funchess, WR , Michigan |
| 7 | 71 | Chicago | Lorenzo Mauldin, OLB, Louisville |
| 8 | 72 | St. Louis | Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State |
| 9 | 73 | Atlanta | Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami (Fla.) |
| 10 | 74 | New York Giants | Clive Walford, TE, Miami (Fla.) |
| 11 | 75 | New Orleans | Tre' Jackson, OG, Florida State |
| 12 | 76 | Minnesota | Xavier Cooper, DT, Washington State |
| 13 | 77 | Cleveland | Nate Orchard, DE, Utah |
| 14 | 78 | New Orleans (from Miami) | Paul Dawson, ILB, TCU |
| 15 | 79 | San Francisco | Trey Flowers, DE, Arkansas |
| 16 | 80 | Kansas City | Chris Conley, WR, Georgia |
| 17 | 81 | Buffalo | Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor |
| 18 | 82 | Houston | P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State |
| 19 | 83 | San Diego | David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa |
| 20 | 84 | Philadelphia | Mitch Morse, OG, Missouri |
| 21 | 85 | Cincinnati | Za'Darius Smith, DE, Kentucky |
| 22 | 86 | Arizona | Josh Shaw, CB, Southern California |
| 23 | 87 | Pittsburgh | Jeff Heuerman, TE, Ohio State |
| 24 | 88 | Detroit | T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama |
| 25 | 89 | Carolina | Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan State |
| 26 | 90 | Baltimore | Adrian Amos, FS, Penn State |
| 27 | 91 | Dallas | Jaquiski Tartt, SS, Samford |
| 28 | 92 | Denver | Kwon Alexander, OLB, LSU |
| 29 | 93 | Indianapolis | Daryl Williams, OT, Oklahoma |

| 32 | 96 | New England | Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State |
| 33 | 97 | New England (Compensatory Selection) | Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina |
| 34 | 98 | Kansas City (Compensatory Selection) | Christian Covington, DT, Rice |
| 35 | 99 | Cincinnati (Compensatory Selection) | Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon |
Notable Pick: No. 81, Buffalo Bills, Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor
Baylor senior quarterback Bryce Petty experienced a late rise the last month or so before the draft, perhaps supplanting UCLA's Brett Hundley as the third quarterback in the class.
It's not hard to understand why considering he looks the part at 6'3" and 230 pounds and touts a great arm. The on-field intelligence is there too after he completed 63.1 percent of his passes for 3,855 yards and 29 touchdowns to seven picks last season.
Buffalo doesn't seem like a team willing to pass on the upside in the third round, especially not after showing so much interest in Petty late in the process.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Albert Breer provide the details:
It's an amazing amount of effort to be a smokescreen.
Buffalo has EJ Manuel to lean on in future years, but there's no such thing as too many potential franchise quarterbacks in today's NFL.
Round 4
| 1 | 100 | Tennessee | Derron Smith, FS, Fresno State |
| 2 | 101 | New England (from Tampa Bay) | David Cobb, RB, Minnesota |
| 3 | 102 | Oakland | Alex Carter, CB, Stanford |
| 4 | 103 | Jacksonville | Ty Sambrailo, OT, Colorado State |
| 5 | 104 | New York Jets | Arie Kouandjio , OG, Alabama |
| 6 | 105 | Washington | Hau'oli Kikaha, OLB , Washington |
| 7 | 106 | Chicago | MyCole Pruitt, TE, Southern Illinois |
| 8 | 107 | Atlanta | Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina |
| 9 | 108 | New York Giants | Davis Tull , OLB, Chattanooga |
| 10 | 109 | Tampa Bay (from St. Louis) | Jordan Hicks, OLB, Texas |
| 11 | 110 | Minnesota | John Miller, OG, Louisville |
| 12 | 111 | Cleveland | Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State |
| 13 | 112 | Seattle (from New Orleans) | Rob Havenstein, OT, Wisconsin |
| 14 | 113 | Philadelphia (from San Francisco through Buffalo) | Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss |
| 15 | 114 | Miami | Tre McBride, WR, William & Mary |
| 16 | 115 | Cleveland (from Buffalo) | Marcus Hardison, DT, Arizona State |
| 17 | 116 | Houston | Javorius Allen, RB, Southern California |
| 18 | 117 | San Diego | Rakeem Nunez-Roches, DT, Southern Mississippi |
| 19 | 118 | Kansas City | Mike Hull, OLB, Penn State |
| 20 | 119 | St. Louis (from Philadelphia) | James Sample, SS, Louisville |

| 33 | 132 | San Francisco (Compensatory Selection) | Bobby McCain, CB, Memphis |
| 34 | 133 | Denver (Compensatory Selection) | Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State |
| 35 | 134 | Seattle (Compensatory Selection) | Gabe Wright, DT, Auburn |
| 36 | 135 | Cincinnati (Compensatory Selection) | Cody Prewitt, FS, Ole Miss |
| 37 | 136 | Baltimore (Compensatory Selection) | Ibraheim Campbell, SS, Northwestern |
Notable Pick: No. 101, New England Patriots, David Cobb, RB, Minnesota
Look at the New England Patriots, the kings of value picks.

Running back may be dead and devalued and all sorts of horrible descriptions, but Minnesota's David Cobb has the look of a surefire every-down contributor right out of the gates.
Cobb was a superstar with the Golden Gophers over the course of his final two seasons, rushing for a minimum of 1,200 yards, seven scores and more than five yards per carry in each.
Just look at what an AFC running back coach told NFL.com's Lance Zierlein: "I'm hoping we get him. He can step right in and play because he runs tough and he knows how to pass protect. His offensive line was bad too. He's a way shiftier runner than he gets credit for."
With Cobb in the fold, New England gets a three-down back and won't have to lean on Travaris Cadet, Jonas Gray or LeGarrette Blount in an awkward rotation.
Round 5
| 1 | 137 | Minnesota (from Tampa Bay through Buffalo) | Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina |
| 2 | 138 | Tennessee | Kevin White, CB, TCU |
| 3 | 139 | Jacksonville | Jake Ryan, OLB, Michigan |
| 4 | 140 | Oakland | Jamison Crowder, WR, Duke |
| 5 | 141 | Washington | Kurtis Drummond, FS, Michigan State |
| 6 | 142 | Chicago (from New York Jets) | Tyrus Thompson, OT, Oklahoma |
| 7 | 143 | Denver (from Chicago) | Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn |
| 8 | 144 | New York Giants | Clayton Geathers, SS, UCF |
| 9 | 145 | Philadelphia (from Chicago) | Ramik Wilson, ILB, Georgia |
| 10 | 146 | Atlanta | Nick O'Leary, TE, Florida State |
| 11 | 147 | Cleveland | Markus Golden, OLB, Missouri |
| 12 | 148 | New Orleans | Blake Bell, TE, Oklahoma |
| 13 | 149 | Miami (from Minnesota) | Charles Gaines , CB, Louisville |
| 14 | 150 | Miami | Tony Lippett, WR, Michigan State |
| 15 | 151 | San Francisco | Ben Heeney, ILB, Kansas |
| 16 | 152 | Houston | Xzavier Dickson, OLB, Alabama |
| 17 | 153 | San Diego | Dres Anderson, WR, Utah |
| 18 | 154 | New Orleans (from Kansas City) | Matt Jones, RB, Florida |
| 19 | 155 | Buffalo | Jesse James, TE, Penn State |
| 20 | 156 | Philadelphia | JaCorey Shepherd, CB, Kansas |
| 21 | 157 | Cincinnati | Tyler Kroft, TE, Rutgers |
| 22 | 158 | Baltimore (from Detroit) | Frank Clark, DE, Michigan |
| 23 | 159 | Arizona | Taiwan Jones, ILB, Michigan State |
| 24 | 160 | Pittsburgh | Jacoby Glenn, CB, UCF |
| 25 | 161 | Carolina | Durell Eskridge, FS, Syracuse |

| 32 | 168 | Tampa Bay (from New England) | Andy Gallik, C, Boston College |

| 35 | 171 | Baltimore (Compensatory Selection) | Darius Philon, DT, Arkansas |
| 36 | 172 | Kansas City (Compensatory Selection) | Lorenzo Doss, CB, Tulane |
| 37 | 173 | Kansas City (Compensatory Selection) | Mark Glowinski, OG, West Virginia |
| 38 | 174 | Carolina (Compensatory Selection) | Gerod Holliman, FS, Louisville |
| 39 | 175 | Houston (Compensatory Selection) | Shaquille Mason, C, Georgia Tech |
| 40 | 176 | Baltimore (Compensatory Selection) | Anthony Jefferson, SS, UCLA |
Notable Pick: No. 146, Atlanta Falcons, Nick O'Leary, TE, Florida State

In this scenario, the Atlanta Falcons shored up both sides of the trenches and even grabbed a strong running back prospect to help guide the offense into the future.
There's still a hole at tight end, though, as Levine Toilolo offers upside but caught just 31 passes last season.
Quarterback Matt Ryan needs another weapon at the position, and it's something Florida State's Nick O'Leary provides. As Bleacher Report's Matt Miller notes, his ability to move all over the field will be quite valuable:
Ryan can work wonders with a weapon such as O'Leary, and defenses will be kept guessing thanks to his pre-snap movement and prowess as a blocker and pass-catcher.
Round 6
| 1 | 177 | Tennessee | Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi State |
| 2 | 178 | New England (from Tampa Bay) | Shaquille Riddick, DE, West Virginia |
| 3 | 179 | Oakland | Karlos Williams, RB, Florida State |
| 4 | 180 | Jacksonville | Jordan Richards, SS, Stanford |
| 5 | 181 | Seattle (from New York Jets) | Sean Hickey, OT, Syracuse |
| 6 | 182 | Washington | Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford |
| 7 | 183 | Chicago | Darryl Roberts, CB, Marshall |
| 8 | 184 | Tampa Bay (from St. Louis) | Damien Wilson, ILB, Minnesota |
| 9 | 185 | Atlanta | Damian Swann, CB, Georgia |
| 10 | 186 | New York Giants | Chaz Green, OT, Florida |
| 11 | 187 | New Orleans | Zach Hodges, OLB, Harvard |
| 12 | 188 | Buffalo (from Minnesota) | Jamil Douglas, OG, Arizona State |
| 13 | 189 | Cleveland | Wes Saxton, TE, South Alabama |

| 19 | 195 | Houston | Zach Zenner, FB, South Dakota State |
| 20 | 196 | Philadelphia | Corey Crawford , DE, Clemson |
| 21 | 197 | Cincinnati | Martrell Spaight, ILB, Arkansas |
| 22 | 198 | Arizona | Titus Davis, WR, Central Michigan |
| 23 | 199 | Pittsburgh | Darren Waller, WR, Georgia Tech |
| 24 | 200 | Detroit | Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor |
| 25 | 201 | Carolina | Malcolm Brown, RB, Texas |
| 26 | 202 | Cleveland (from Baltimore) | Laurence Gibson, OT, Virginia Tech |

| 40 | 216 | Houston (Compensatory Selection) | Donald Celiscar, CB, Western Michigan |
| 41 | 217 | Kansas City (Compensatory Selection) | Zack Wagenmann, DE, Montana |
Notable Pick: No. 179, Oakland Raiders, Karlos Williams, RB, Florida State

The Oakland Raiders are right to exercise caution at running back in this scenario.
At times, Latavius Murray was a major home run threat last season and may have every-down mettle. The front office brought on Trent Richardson just to kick the tires too.
Karlos Williams touts the talent to steal the job outright. RosterWatch, among many others, is high on Williams' pro outlook:
Williams looks every bit the part of an every-down starter at the next level, possessing rare physical traits at 6'1" and 230 pounds that pair with great vision and an elite one-cut style made for the pro level.
The question with Williams is motivation, but if it's there, Oakland might have one of the biggest steals of the class.
Round 7

| 2 | 219 | New England (from Tennessee) | Kyshoen Jarrett, SS, Virginia Tech |

| 4 | 221 | Oakland | Justin Coleman, CB, Tennessee |
| 5 | 222 | Washington | Louis Trinca-Pasat, DT, Iowa |
| 6 | 223 | New York Jets | Malcolm Agnew, RB, Southern Illinois |
| 7 | 224 | New York Jets (from Chicago) | Connor Halliday, QB, Washington State |

| 17 | 234 | Buffalo | Trenton Brown, OG, Florida |
| 18 | 235 | Houston | Rannell Hall, WR, UCF |
| 19 | 236 | Dallas (from San Diego) | James O'Shaughnessy, TE, Illinois State |
| 20 | 237 | Philadelphia | Erick Dargan, SS, Oregon |
| 21 | 238 | Cincinnati | Zach Vigil, ILB, Utah State |

Notable Pick: No. 238, Cincinnati Bengals, Zach Vigil, LB, Utah State
The seventh and final round centers on high-upside picks who can round out rosters by putting up a serious fight for a spot.
Zach Vigil, the Mountain West's defensive player of the year, stands such a chance.

Vigil is a productive, high-effort player who masks a weakness against the rush with strong coverage skills. Zierlein offers a comprehensive conclusion of his pro outlook: "His production and ability in coverage should get him a look. Needs to shine on special teams to land a roster spot as a backup linebacker. Might be worth a look at the SAM 'backer spot in a 4-3."
Vigil fits well in Cincinnati's 4-3 alignment, although he enters quite a battle, with the top three slots on the depth chart secure and other hungry young players, such as Sean Porter and Marquis Flowers, looking to keep their jobs.
Still, for Vigil it beats being Mr. Irrelevant, and if it's any consolation, the Bengals have a habit of picking out great linebackers.
