The quarter-final stage of the UEFA Champions League is highlighted by the Madrid derby between Atletico and Real. Not only is it a chance to renew local hostilities, this fixture is also a repeat of last season's final.
Then it was Los Blancos beating Atleti 4-1. The latter aren't the force domestically they were in 2014. But manager Diego Simeone's squad has the psychological edge, having beaten Los Merengues 4-0 the last time the two sides met.

Juventus and Monaco are two surprise packages in this season's competition. The former has dominated Serie A in recent years and boasts a star-studded squad.
But until this campaign, Juve have struggled to translate those performances to Europe's premier club competition. Those failings seemed like a distant memory when the Turin club thrashed Borussia Dortmund 4-1 in the last 16, including a 3-0 win in Germany in the second leg.
With Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata up front, Juve offer more pace and power in attack. Those qualities amply complement one of the deepest and most talented midfields in the tournament. Workhorse Arturo Vidal will pull the strings and create chances.
Tevez has been nursing an injury but is expected to be fit to face Ligue 1 upstarts Monaco, per La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t ESPN FC's Ben Gladwell).
Monaco are still buoyant after stunning Arsenal in the last round. Manager Leonardo Jardim's team is built on a solid defensive platform with an emphasis on striking on the break.
A key figure for the formula is midfield powerhouse Geoffrey Kondogbia. He's a tough tackler rugged enough to win possession and quick and skilled enough to instantly transition defence to attack.
Kondogbia's duel with Vidal will be the key to this game. If Kondogbia and schemer Joao Moutinho can make headway in the middle, Monaco could spring another shock.
As for the round's standout game, Los Blancos have lost six straight to their neighbours, per Sky Sports. But Real's attack is at least purring again just in time.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are back scoring goals, while the return of James Rodriguez gives the holders another creative influence. Atletico will rely on their little-and-large act up top to cause a few problems.
B/R's Guillem Balague believes the mercurial Colombian No. 10 will add an "extra dimension" to the Bale, Ronaldo and Karim Benzema forward line:
Diminutive speedster Antoine Griezmann offers the clever runs and quickness to complement the strength and aerial prowess offered by towering target man Mario Mandzukic.
The quarter-final stage will be bookended by Barcelona's clash with Paris Saint-Germain. It's a marquee affair littered with big-name stars.
But it's the three up front for Barca who really stand out. The Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Luis Suarez trio is talented enough to make the La Liga leaders favourites for the final, per B/R analyst Sam Tighe:
In fact, Tighe believes that only Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich could stop Barca. But that will first require the German side dismissing an exciting Porto team in the last eight.
Despite the absence of any Premier League contenders left in the tournament, this year's quarter-finals boast four very engaging ties.
