Masters 2015 Tee Times: List of Pairings and Schedule Info for Saturday

James DudkoApr 11, 2015

Jordan Spieth has played some superb golf during the first two rounds of the 2015 Masters. His performances have earned him a commanding lead atop the leaderboard ahead of Round 3.

He'll be paired with fellow American Charley Hoffman, Spieth's closest rival after Round 2. But the way he's handled the course so far provides no indication the leader will slow down any time soon. Of course, every member of the trailing pack will hope they can produce a minor miracle.

Here are the schedule details, including tee times and the list of pairings for Round 3:

Chasing Pack Hoping for a Slip from Spieth

Based on how he's played during the first two rounds, a slip from Spieth doesn't seem very likely. Writing for the PGA's official site, Jeff Schultz of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution described how Spieth has consistently been making quick work of a notoriously treacherous course: "Augusta National can't touch Jordan Spieth. He is going through birdies like the rest of us go through potato chips. That was good. I think I'll have another."

Schultz also emphasised how no player has dominated Augusta the way Spieth has been doing since a younger Tiger Woods took this tournament by storm.

A lull in form from a player performing this well doesn't seem likely. Even Rory McIlroy is not holding out much hope.

That's because the 25-year-old is aware of just how tough a task he faces overhauling Spieth's lead, according to BBC Sport"I'll need two phenomenal rounds and Jordan would have to play a couple of average rounds."

McIlroy isn't confident he can catch Spieth. By contrast, Woods is a little more optimistic.

The American shot under 70 during a fine performance in Round 2. It wasn't enough to chase down Spieth, but Woods is staying confident, per USA Today Sports' Nancy Armour: "I'm still right there. I'm 12 back, but there's not a lot of guys ahead of me. And with 36 holes here to go, anything can happen, you know. '96 proved that."

Woods' chances could be influenced by any potential distractions from renewing an uneasy partnership with Spaniard Sergio Garcia in Round 3. If he can shoot under 70 again, Woods will at least apply pressure to Spieth.

One other player sure to command attention is Dustin Johnson. The American earned the right to share some of the spotlight with Spieth after entering the tournament record books during Round 2.

Johnson hit a Masters' record three eagles, per Yahoo! Sports' Ryan Ballengee. Now he'll be paired with Englishman Justin Rose.

If Johnson maintains his pace from the opening two rounds, he's the most credible challenger likely to close the gap on Spieth.

But given the lead Spieth has already built, there's no margin for error for any of the chasing pack.
