WWE SmackDown Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from April 2
The first Raw after WrestleMania has been home to some pretty memorable moments over the years, and 2015 was no different.
Just 24 hours removed from the Showcase of the Immortals, the show featured the return of the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, who debuted a new look and attitude as he brutally assaulted both Dolph Ziggler and new Intercontinental champion Daniel Bryan.
For the first time since 2011, fans got a glimpse into the mean, nasty Irishman who took the wrestling world by storm in his first two years as a main roster talent, during which he developed the reputation as one of the most vile villains in the locker room.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
With Ziggler still reeling from the injuries suffered on Raw, the tag team match scheduled for SmackDown's main event was cancelled and Bryan found himself faced with the unenviable task of facing a determined and destructive Sheamus in a non-title match.
The Mohawk-sporting former heavyweight champion pummeled Bryan, asserting his will on the IC champion and scoring a countout victory that surely puts him in the hunt for a shot at the bearded babyface's newly won title.
From the selling of Ziggler's injuries by not having him appear to the above-average pre-match promo and stellar ring work in the main event, Sheamus was treated like a hot new star, something that will only help him as he embarks on his latest heel run.
On a key episode of SmackDown, just days removed from the biggest event of the year, who joined Sheamus as a big winner of this week's telecast, and who suffered a great misstep to end up as a notable loser from Thursday's show?
Winner: Luke Harper
When looking at his body of work over the last six months, there are few Superstars on the WWE roster who have been as steady in the ring as Luke Harper. Regardless of wins or losses, he consistently delivers against opponents of all sizes, shapes and styles.
Thursday night, after months of busting his back to try to gain the attention of management, it finally appeared as though he may be onto his first real rivalry of note, as he powerbombed Dean Ambrose through the announce table, then threatened the officials at ringside as if he were some sort of uncontrollable wild man.
Even if the impending feud with Ambrose ends with him doing the job for the Lunatic Fringe, it could very well be the shot in the arm that the character needed after a few months of floating in and out of IC title contention without doing much else of note.
Winner: Naomi
Just days after pinning Nikki Bella on Monday Night Raw, the former Funkadactyl earned another big victory as she heads toward a potential shot at the WWE Divas Championship in the coming weeks, beating Natalya in singles competition.
The most dynamic athlete in the Divas division, Naomi has seen her pushes start and stop countless times. She has impressed on numerous opportunities but never enough to convince WWE Creative to sustain her push.
That will all change if she can maintain the momentum she has built over the last week and deliver a competitive and entertaining match against a Divas champion in Nikki Bella who has developed into a fine worker.
Loser: R-Truth
Remember that time R-Truth came from out of nowhere to earn a spot in the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, one of the highest-profile bouts on the card? Remember when he was a central figure in the story revolving around that title?
He lost to the Miz in a matter of minutes Thursday night.
The same Miz who was deemed unworthy of anything other than a spot in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal which, in 2015, was little more than a gathering of glorified jobbers and underutilized midcarders.
And with that loss came the end of Truth's flirt with credibility.
