Greg Jennings to Dolphins: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction
The Miami Dolphins have reportedly reached an agreement with veteran free-agent wide receiver Greg Jennings. The team announced the deal on Thursday.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed Yahoo Sports' Rand Getlin's report that the former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver was headed to Miami.
ProFootballTalk reported the deal is for two years, $8 million. Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reported more detail, saying "$3M SB, $900k '15 base; $3.9M' 16 base; $100k workout bonuses."

Jennings spoke to reporters on Thursday to discuss the move:
Now that Jennings has found a landing spot—for real this time—the biggest question is how much he has left in the tank at this stage of his career.
As mentioned, there was a time when he could be leaned on heavily. That's no longer the case. He's never been the most physically imposing receiver, and all of the hits over the years seem to have taken their toll to a certain extent.
He joins a Dolphins squad looking to fill the void Mike Wallace left when he joined the Vikings. With Brian Hartline and Charles Clay also leaving the team this offseason, Jennings will play a major role in providing quarterback Ryan Tannehill with a consistent receiving option.
Jennings' time with the Vikings showed he could still provide some production in more of a secondary offensive role. That's likely the situation he'll step into once again.
Clearly the team felt he could help bolster the group. He's a nice veteran presence and should fill a leadership role. The Dolphins should keep expectations in terms of numbers within reason, though.
