Breaking Down Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania
WrestleMania 31 will likely forever be defined by the main event between WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. It may not be the ideal match in the eyes of many fans, but there are several factors at work that could lead to it becoming one of the most memorable WrestleMania main events of all time.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Leave WrestleMania as World Champion?
There is no question that the build between Lesnar and Reigns left something to be desired, especially the final segment on the go-home episode of Raw, which featured them engaging in a game of tug-of-war over the world title belt.
Perhaps the most interesting development came on Tuesday, when Lesnar announced on SportsCenter that he was closing the door on MMA and had re-signed with WWE. The Beast Incarnate sticking around opens up all kinds of possibilities for WrestleMania.
If Lesnar was on his way out, then retaining the title wouldn't have been on the table. Now, however, WWE has the option to do essentially anything, and that is intriguing. Reigns has seemingly been built as the guy to slay the beast after winning the Royal Rumble and beating Daniel Bryan at WWE Fastlane, but knowing that Lesnar is in the fold for the foreseeable future could change things.
Wrestling fans often long for unpredictability, and this match now has it in spades.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
While almost anything could be on the table for WWE, keep an eye out for a possibility that hasn't been discussed much elsewhere other than Ring Rust Radio. Based on the manner in which Reigns has been booked for the past few months, a heel turn and alignment with Paul Heyman could be in the offing.
Heyman has been nothing but respectful and complimentary of Reigns during the lead up to WrestleMania, which is uncommon for the sharp-tongued advocate. He also flashed what may have been a telling wink on the go-home edition of Raw after saying that Reigns wouldn't beat Lesnar.
With Lesnar building up good faith in the eyes of the fans by re-signing with WWE, he figures to get a favorable reaction at WrestleMania. Fans have been lukewarm regarding Reigns for quite some time, so why not give the WWE Universe what it wants?
Having Heyman screw Lesnar and help Reigns win the title would be one of the biggest swerves in WrestleMania history. It would allow Lesnar to go away for a while before returning around SummerSlam to take down Heyman and his next big thing.
WWE desperately needs an intriguing storyline to carry through the spring and summer, and channeling the hatred for Reigns would be the ideal option.

Analyzing Other Key WrestleMania Matches
While Reigns and Lesnar are garnering the bulk of the attention ahead of WrestleMania, there are several other matches on the card generating interest. Sting against Triple H, the Undertaker versus Bray Wyatt and John Cena battling Rusev are all among the bouts that fans will be keeping a close eye on come Sunday.
Question on Everybody's Mind: How Will the Event Play Out?
As unpredictable as the main event feels, the same can't necessarily be said for the rest of the card. That starts with Sting and Triple H. There is definite excitement surrounding Sting competing in his first WrestleMania match. However, the Vigilante winning appears to be a lock. WWE made no effort to make Triple H look like a threat, and while that could be construed as a sign that he'll win, the odds are very much against it.
The same can be said for the Undertaker and Wyatt. Some fans have seemingly convinced themselves that the Eater of World will come out on top since he would benefit from a WrestleMania win, but it's simply a pipe dream. If the Deadman is going to face Sting at WrestleMania next year, as many expect, he can't afford to take a loss. Taker needs to get back on track after falling to Lesnar last year, and he will.
After losing to Rusev at Fastlane, Cena is on the road to redemption. Everything has been building toward Rusev suffering his first pinfall or submission loss at WrestleMania, and Cena is the obvious choice to make it happen. Cena winning the United States Championship would create the type of WrestleMania moment WWE loves, which is why it will ultimately come to fruition.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
Things are a bit tougher to call on an undercard featuring Randy Orton against Seth Rollins, the Intercontinental Championship ladder match, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Paige and AJ Lee versus the Bella Twins and a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Championship match.
The bout between Orton and Rollins could be a hidden gem, and the fact that either Superstar could conceivably win is certainly a plus. In an effort to keep everything copacetic, perhaps Rollins will get a much-needed win followed by Orton beating him down afterward in an act of revenge.
As random as the ladder match is, it has the potential to be the best bout on the card due to the presence of guys such as Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose. All three of them are solid options to win the title, but Bryan is the best choice since he is a big enough name to make the championship matter again.
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is a fun wild card since almost anything could happen. Among the participants who have been announced, Damien Mizdow and Ryback stand out as possible winners. There could always be a surprise entrant or two, though, with Sheamus a very real possibility to enter and win.
To round out the card, look for Paige and AJ to finally give the Bellas a taste of their own medicine and for the burgeoning team of Cesaro and Tyson Kidd to retain the Tag Team Championships on the Kickoff show.

RRR Interview with Lucha Underground's Son of Havoc
Lucha Underground is a promotion on the rise, due in part to established stars such as Alberto El Patron and Johnny Mundo, but it has also had success building new stars as well. Son of Havoc is near the top of that list, and he joined Ring Rust Radio to discuss what is on the horizon for both himself and Lucha Underground as a whole.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What's Next for Son of Havoc
Son of Havoc made quite a name for himself on the independent scene as Matt Cross, but he is finally gaining some mainstream attention in Lucha Underground. The most impressive part of that, though, is the fact that he is doing it as an entirely new and unique character.
He has been given an opportunity to shine both in the ring and in terms of developing a persona, and Son of Havoc believes that will continue moving forward.
"Since day one I have shown I can go from zero to 60 in a short amount of time, and I want to keep up that momentum. I love to keep reinventing the business I love and want to be on top of the company some day.
[Lucha Underground is] bringing in world-class talents like Alberto El Patron, and I want to test myself against them. I'm only in this to be the best I can be, and you can't not get better [by] working [with] guys better than you. This could open me up to a whole new style and set of guys.
"
Son of Havoc's range as a performer has been on full display in Lucha Underground, and as he continues to garner television time and positive crowd reactions, he will inevitably move up the ladder as well.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
Not only is Son of Havoc on the upswing as an individual performer, but Lucha Underground as a whole is making waves in the professional wrestling business. It has emerged as a true alternative to the more traditional companies, and Son of Havoc is thrilled to be involved with it.
"I think Lucha Underground is an evolution of our business. ... I am so happy to be a part of it because I have clamored for change, as so many of us have been forever. Now, to be a part of that change, it's just really so exciting and different.
I think a lot of times wrestling falls into that category of old boys' club. The mentality of this is how it's been done and how it's going to be done. Now, with a new, fresh set of eyes, everything is being looked at as fresh and new, and that's coming across in the content.
"
Lucha Underground is chock full of uncommon talent, and Son of Havoc is leading the way in that regard. He can truly do it all, and that all-around skill set should allow him to become one of the promotion's top stars.
As Lucha Underground continues to progress, Son of Havoc promises to do the same and perhaps become a world champion in the near future as well.
