Taj Gibson Injury: Updates on Bulls Star's Shoulder and Return
Stop the presses—the Chicago Bulls have suffered another injury. This time, the player is forward Taj Gibson, who experienced a physical setback after injuring his shoulder Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks, but he's back for the team's game against the Bucks on Saturday.

Gibson Will Play vs. Bucks
Saturday, April 18
Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago reported that Gibson was playing in Game 1 of the team's series against the Bucks on Saturday.
On April 15, Friedell reported that Gibson would not return for the remainder of the game against the Hawks because of a left shoulder strain. Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report reported that Gibson believes he'll be fine for Saturday's playoff game vs. the Bucks.
This is not the first time Gibson has been injured this season. He sprained an ankle and had to wear a walking boot and missed some time earlier in the year.
Between injuries to Gibson, Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler, the Bulls have been snakebitten this season. They have managed to stay near the top of the Eastern Conference standings, but they would have a much better chance at earning a trip to the NBA Finals with a healthy roster.
Gibson provides solid depth down low for Chicago, and he is a formidable rim protector and source of scoring and rebounding. He is often on the floor at the end of games for his defense, which means the Bulls are going to need others to step up if he misses significant time.
