WWE NXT: Full Preview, Rumors and More for February 18
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of NXT on the WWE Network. Spoilers are already out there, but if you want to know what will happen without learning the match results, you're in the right place.
After last week's critically acclaimed TakeOver: Rival live special, the landscape of NXT has changed. We now have two new champions and some new rivalries blossoming in the developmental system.
Not only did Kevin Owens defeat Sami Zayn to become the new NXT champion, but Sasha Banks also took home gold after going through three of the most talented women in the division.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Let's take a look at this week's episode of NXT and all the potential fallout from Rival.
The Tag Teams
After a successful title defense against The Lucha Dragons, Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy will only appear in a non-wrestling capacity. However, two other teams will get a chance to shine when The Vaudevillains battle Enzo Amore and Colin Cassaday.
Amore and Big Cass have mostly been sitting on the sidelines for the past several weeks, usually only appearing when their student Carmella is in action.
Both of these teams have strong gimmicks and a lot of credibility. Whoever wins this match will likely become the next contenders for the Tag Team Championships.
Simon Gotch and Aiden English had a chance at the belts two months ago at TakeOver: R Evolution, and they came up short. Perhaps it's time for another duo to get a shot at the champs.
Amore and Big Cass have been successful in other feuds, but they have yet to really be taken seriously as top contenders. A win over The Vaudevillains could change all that.
This should be a fun match between two of WWE's more colorful pairings. Hopefully they make the most of this opportunity.
The Women
After the amazing performance put on by the four women involved in the Rival title match, we will get to see a relative newcomer get some time in the ring this week.
Carmella will be taking on Leva Bates, who some of you may know by the nickname Blue Pants. Bates has appeared in several matches over the past few months, but WWE still has yet to sign this promising indy talent.
Since Carmella is the one with a contract, it's far more likely that she will pick up the win, but you never know. WWE may have offered Bates a deal, and this could be her first big win with the company.
It will be nice to see someone other than Banks, Charlotte, Bayley or Becky Lynch for a change, and Carmella has definitely shown some promise in the short time she has been in NXT.
Carmella did not have any prior experience before management sent her to NXT, but Bates has been tearing it up in smaller promotions, which makes her the perfect person to help a new talent look good.
The Men
This is where things become interesting. Not only is one ECW legend making an appearance this week, but a highly anticipated debut will also take place.
First, let's get to the big return. Elias Sampson will have a huge challenge ahead of him in the form of Rhyno.
The former ECW mainstay, U.S and tag team champion has not revealed if he has signed a new deal or if this is a short-term return, but either way, fans should be happy to see him.
There's no point in sugarcoating this. Sampson doesn't have a chance against Rhyno, but at least we will all get to hear the crowd chant "Gore Gore Gore" over and over again.
Now, onto the debut. After a few cryptic teasers, Solomon Crowe will finally make his first NXT appearance this week.
He won't be in an official match, but he will end up fighting someone. Without giving too many details away, this could be the start of his first feud.
Crowe was an indy darling known as Sami Callahan. He appeared for such promotions as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor and Evolve while racking up an impressive number of championships, including a tag title reign with Dean Ambrose back when he was known as Jon Moxley.
Crowe should be a welcome addition to the roster, but we will have to see if his hacker gimmick works or he eventually changes to something more traditional.
And finally, we come to the main event of the evening. After defeating Sami Zayn for the title last week, Kevin Owens will have to take on the man who lost the title at R Evolution, Adrian Neville.
These two had a confrontation at the end of last year that saw both men get counted out, so this will be a second chance for Neville to get some revenge for his friend, Sami Zayn.
Owens is already champion, so he doesn't need to win a non-title bout, but odds are good that he will. Neville getting the victory would certainly make him look good, but it wouldn't advance the storyline.
Regardless of who wins, this should easily be the best match of the night. The mix of styles and the talent possessed by both men will make this a show you don't want to miss.
What are you looking forward to on this week's episode of NXT?
