Best Possible Scenarios for Undertaker's Potential Return Against Bray Wyatt
WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt is one of the most entertaining wrestlers in the business today, but his recent string of cryptic promos appears to be leading toward a potential WrestleMania 31 match against Undertaker.
While Undertaker is widely regarded as one of the greatest characters in wrestling history, Wyatt has a similar supernatural gimmick.
The hope is that the WWE legend will give Wyatt a rub when he steps in the ring with him, but how the feud starts is imperative to its success.

Here are the best possible scenarios for The Deadman making his return to WWE programming and beginning the feud against Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt Gets His Answer at Fastlane
The best possible scenario for Undertaker’s return would be at Fastlane. The old-school mentality of pay-per-views is gone with the WWE Network, and as seen from Sting’s appearance at Survivor Series, Undertaker could very well arrive at Fastlane.
Wyatt has been hinting at the fact that the recent promos he has been cutting are directed at Undertaker, but at the end of each, he asks for his target to come and find him.
The PPV stage would be the perfect place for the two men to come face-to-face.
Over the last several months, Wyatt has been booked incredibly strongly, beating the likes of Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. A match against a fan favorite like Ziggler at Fastlane is a legitimate option for one of the top heels in the company.
Ziggler and Wyatt have shown great chemistry in the ring over the last several weeks, but Bray has gotten the upper hand each time.
At Fastlane, the two men should put on another excellent match, but just as Wyatt is about to go for the win, Undertaker’s music should hit.
The crowd in Memphis, Tennessee, would explode for the return of the legend. Undertaker would have his traditional slow walk to the ring, but waiting in the ring would be Wyatt on his knees asking The Deadman to take his best shot.
The match with Ziggler would end in a disqualification as Undertaker grabs Wyatt around the neck and choke-slams him. This finish would send a clear message to the WWE Universe that Undertaker is back and will be in action against Wyatt at WrestleMania.
Wyatt’s Celebration Is Cut Short
The hope from many fans is that Wyatt will be in action at Fastlane. Whether it’s Ziggler or another face being fed to him in order to keep him looking strong, Wyatt deserves another PPV showcase before Undertaker’s return.
If The Deadman isn’t going to show up at Fastlane—WWE may not want the return to be overshadowed by the appearance of Sting—Wyatt should defeat whomever he faces and have a segment during the following Raw where he is celebrating another victory with a promo in the ring.
As Wyatt is gloating and throwing subtle jabs at Undertaker, the gong should ring and the lights should go out.
As the lightning strikes, the WWE legend should return for the first time since losing to Brock Lesnar and slowly walk to the ring.
With Wyatt and Undertaker standing toe-to-toe, both men should look at the WrestleMania sign and confirm the Wrestling Observer newsletter's report (h/t WrestleChat.net) on their battle.
After both men silently acknowledge the match, Wyatt should try to attack his challenger, but The Deadman must get the advantage.
This scenario would cast Undertaker in an imposing light and not make Wyatt look too weak, as slithering away before the fans can enjoy any real fighting makes him look like the quintessential heel character.
The Undertaker Is Attacked
One of the most intriguing possibilities for setting up the WrestleMania match between Undertaker and Wyatt would be swerving the fans and having the younger WWE star attack the legend.
When Wyatt said “find me” in his promos, the perception was that he would eventually be attacked by The Deadman to start the feud. Instead, Undertaker should return to the WWE unannounced and come to the ring to address his loss to Lesnar.
As it begins to sound like Undertaker is about to retire, Wyatt’s music should hit and he should walk to the ring cutting one of his top-tier promos. The crowd would be enraged by Wyatt interrupting a legend, but the heat would only get worse as he beats down The Deadman and leaves him unconscious in the ring.
After watching The Undertaker lose to Lesnar, most of the WWE Universe expects him to come back and look just as strong as ever. Wyatt attacking him and beating him down initially would raise doubt among fans and build intrigue for the match.
Undertaker should win the match at WrestleMania, but making Wyatt look strong during the build will be imperative to the success of this storyline and the 27-year-old Superstar moving into the future.
