Doug Baldwin Fined $11,025 for 2015 Super Bowl TD Celebration
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin was reportedly fined just over $11,000 for his touchdown celebration during the team's loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX.
Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports 1 reported the amount, which is the minimum under the current standards for such acts:

Baldwin caught a three-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson with a little less than five minutes left in the third quarter. The score gave the Seahawks a 24-14 lead and he proceeded to seemingly use the ball as a prop for a curious celebration.
Eric Adelson of Yahoo Sports described the act, which featured a mock pulling down of his pants, as "juvenile and vile." He also provided comments from the wideout, who refused to provide insight into exactly what he was doing.
"That's between me and the guy it was directed at," Baldwin said. He went on to elaborate that it was actually meant for an entire group, but wouldn't get into specifics.
Of course, the Patriots proceeded to score 14 straight points after the incident to take the lead back. They held on for the win after Malcolm Butler intercepted a Wilson pass at the goal line in one of the most entertaining finishes in Super Bowl history.
Baldwin's actions may never be fully understood. But his team lost the game and now he has to cut a check to the NFL. It wasn't the best way to end the season to say the least.
