Patriots Parade 2015: Date, Time, Route and Latest Weather Forecast Report
Forget Disney World, Tom Brady and the rest of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots are going to the Prudential Center in Boston for a parade.
The Patriots knocked off the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday's Super Bowl, 28-24, for the franchise's fourth Lombardi Trophy in the past 13 years (starting with the 2002 Super Bowl). Now, they and their fans get to revel in the victory with a championship parade.
Here is a look at the essential information for the celebration.

New England Patriots Championship Parade

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 4
Time: 11 a.m. ET (per Patriots.com)
Route Information
John R. Ellement of The Boston Globe presented information on the parade route and the celebration in general, noting that it will start at the Prudential Center, go through downtown Boston and then finish at City Hall. The parade will consist of more than 20 duck boats.
However, the one important distinction for this year's parade as opposed to those in the past for various Boston championship teams is that there will not be the usual rally at City Hall Plaza because of the amount of snow that is already on the ground and the freezing temperatures.
The Boston Globe posted an entire map of the parade route in visual form as well (which can be seen below). The duck boats will go up Boylston Street to Tremont Street and then to City Hall, passing Emerson College, Public Garden and Boston Common on the way. In all, the route will be about two miles.
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was directly involved in the parade planning and discussed the Super Bowl victory for the Patriots, via Jack Andrade and Braden Campbell of Boston.com: "That was an incredible victory they had, a hard-fought victory they had. And the Patriots certainly showed their determination and teamwork in never giving up. Certainly, that's the spirit of Boston and New England."
Interestingly, this will be the first parade since Walsh took over as mayor in Boston after there were eight different championships with predecessor Thomas Menino in office.
Weather Forecast

This has been touched on already, but the weather is going to be less than ideal Wednesday for the Patriots and their fans during the celebration.
According to Weather.com (as of Tuesday at 7 a.m. ET), the temperature in Boston is set to be 28 degrees at 11 a.m. when the parade starts and will warm up to 32 degrees by 1 p.m. However, because of wind chills from 10-mile-per-hour winds, it will feel like a frigid 19 degrees at the opening.
There is a 35 percent chance of snow showers during the parade. Since there is still plenty of snow on the streets in Boston because of recent storms and blizzards, some minor snow showers during the parade shouldn't disrupt the activities.
The Boston Globe had a rather amusing take on the current snow situation in Boston:
Braving some snow is a trade-off Boston fans are likely more than happy to make if it means the Patriots are bringing home the Lombardi Trophy.
