Patriots Parade 2015: Date, Route, Location, Expectations After Super Bowl Win
The New England Patriots have won the Super Bowl, which means only one thing: Duck boats will be rolled out again for another parade in Boston.
Every star from the team, including Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick, will be riding down the streets on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. Or at least that was the original plan.
Due to weather, the parade has been pushed back until Wednesday, via Andrew Ryan of the Boston Globe.

The route for the parade is similar to those of the past, but slightly different due to weather conditions. Duck boats will begin at the Prudential Tower and end at Boston City Hall, according to WHDH.com.
Even with conditions in Boston not perfect for a parade, the event will still take place in the usual spot. Another storm recently went through Boston, leaving behind several inches of snow that still need to be removed.
Plans for the parade started well before the Super Bowl took place. Though he didn't want to sabotage the Patriots, Mayor Marty Walsh discussed his work toward the parade, via WHDH.com:
"We were quietly over the weekend removing snow from Boylston Street and a few places around the city of Boston. Quietly. We didn't want to jinx anybody. ...
We were hoping if we didn't have a snowstorm today, we probably could have announced it this morning, but because of the snow, it kind of sets us back a little bit.
"
Of course, the actual conditions in Boston are more important than the parade itself. With the entire community working toward shoveling snow, the Tuesday date seems like a realistic one.
However, having duck boats during the parade might be difficult, as Todd Gutner of WCSH notes:
As for the predicted weather conditions, only die-hard fans of the Patriots might be in attendance. The early February date means frigid conditions for the parade, per Terry Eliasen of WBZ:
The short notice for the parade also leaves several fans of the team out in the cold. Those who traveled out to the Super Bowl in Arizona might have a difficult time arriving back in Boston with the current conditions delaying flights.
Zuri Berry of WFXT provides the reaction from Boston about the timing of the parade:
Regardless of the reaction, the date and time are set for the Patriots' first parade in over a decade. Brady, Belichick and the entire fanbase have been waiting long enough for this moment. Thinking that a winter storm will hamper that seems a little crazy.
Expect another huge production from the Patriots, even with the difficult conditions in Boston. Duck boats will roll for a fourth time down the streets of Boston, with another not seeming far off after the brilliant season New England put together.
