AFC Championship Game 2015: Final Score, Highlights from Colts vs. Patriots
There was no magic in Foxborough Sunday night.
Just a superior roster, led by one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, overseen by perhaps the best coach of all time, picking apart an inferior, deer-in-headlights team.
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, along with lead back LeGarrette Blount—the AFC's Marshawn Lynch, sans the Skittles—poured on 14 points in the first frame and never let up.

Andrew Luck's coming-of-age story in which he conquers Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in the same postseason must wait another year, although the Indianapolis Colts even being on the field Sunday is a testament to his greatness at such a young age.
Just like that, the Patriots are off to meet the Seattle Seahawks soon. Before that arrives, be sure to relive Sunday's late game.

Tom Brady

Brady looks a decade younger right now.
One week removed from compensating for a miserable defensive outing against Baltimore, Brady tossed another three touchdowns Sunday.
The avenue of the scores are both diverse and predictable. Fullback James Develin caught his one target for a score. Tight end Rob Gronkowski did his typical abuse-smaller-defender routine in single coverage to grab a touchdown.
Even offensive tackle Nate Solder got in the end zone via a 16-yard catch-and-run:
That speaks to coach Bill Belichick's genius as much as it does to Brady's ability, but it takes a veteran, calm leader to execute unorthodox attacks such as what the Patriots brought out Sunday.
In the process, Brady rewrote record books, as SportsCenter illustrates:
It seems only fitting that Brady advances to the Super Bowl to dance with Seattle, a team that boasts the league's No. 1 pass defense thanks to Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom.
If his postseason play this year is any indication, Brady will be more than up to the task.
Julian Edelman

Julian Edelman, not Gronkowski, was Brady's top option Sunday.
The explosive, versatile playmaker received 11 targets and led the team in receiving with nine catches for 98 yards.
As an added caveat, Edelman posted one of the top highlights of the game, as NFL Now captures:
"Yup. This Julian @Edelman11 catch was FANTASTIC: http://t.co/OHpLaSiCEQ #INDvsNE #NFLPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/pvMrNYCoRJ
— NFL Now (@NFLNow) January 19, 2015"
As if to flaunt his versatility and importance, Edelman also took his lone handoff for 12 yards and averaged 23.7 yards over the course of three punt returns.
Suffice it to say, Edelman will be a major part of the New England attack in a few weeks.
D'Qwell Jackson

It says a lot that Indianapolis' top player Sunday was a defender.
But Luck looked forgettable and entirely too energetic in the pocket all night long en route to 126 passing yards, no scores and two interceptions. The hype around Daniel Herron died, too, thanks to 10 carries for 51 yards.
The Colts brought on D'Qwell Jackson to be a veteran leader in such situations. He delivered, too, with an interception of Brady early on, as NFL.com's Aditi Kinkhabwala details:
It is a strange night indeed when Jackson, not known for his coverage skills, scores an interception. He finished with nine total tackles, one short of the team lead.
Like the rest of his team, Jackson did not have an overly positive game, but his big plays will be remembered more than anything in hindsight.
LeGarrette Blount
Blount, the guy who marched off the sidelines early and was let go by the Pittsburgh Steelers just a few months ago, seems as if he had a master plan all along: play for the Patriots and brutalize the Colts in the postseason.
Deja vu, anyone? As ESPN Stats & Info and NFL on ESPN break down, Blount set records Sunday by torching a familiar foe:
Blount did it all over the field, too. His trademark bruising ways scored him two touchdowns from within five yards, although his big-man shiftiness that would make Shaq smile also notched him a 13-yard scoring run.
Yes, Blount scored three times to go along with 148 yards on 30 attempts. His wild 2014 season seems befit of a 30 for 30, although there is one problem—his season is far from over.
