Super Bowl 2015: Title Odds, Predictions for Every Game on Path to Championship
There are six football games remaining until the Super Bowl.
Here’s a depressing thought—that is less pigskin action than NFL fans are treated to in the 1 p.m. ET timeslot on a regular-season Sunday alone. The good news is that the remaining football promises to be some of the best of the year as the playoffs narrow down and the best teams in the league emerge on the way to the Super Bowl.
With that in mind, here is a look at the latest odds to win the championship (via Odds Shark, as of Friday morning at 3 a.m. ET) before digging into some predictions for those remaining six games before the Super Bowl.

AFC Race to the Super Bowl
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
The Baltimore Ravens have given the New England Patriots problems before in Foxborough. In fact, ESPN Stats & Info noted just how difficult the Ravens defense has been against Tom Brady in the past:
However, this season will be different. The Ravens have the 23rd-ranked secondary in the league and will have serious problems stopping the Brady-to-Rob Gronkowski connection. Julian Edelman is also healthy again and will give Brady a solid option on the outside if Baltimore devotes too much attention to stopping Gronkowski.
Predicted winner: Patriots
Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos
This matchup is being billed as the showdown between quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning, but it will actually be a running back who wins it for the Denver Broncos.
The Indianapolis Colts were a mediocre 18th in the league against the run this season and won’t be able to commit enough guys to the line of scrimmage out of respect for the Denver passing game. That means C.J. Anderson, who racked up 648 rushing yards and eight touchdown runs in the final six games, should have his way against a vulnerable Indianapolis front seven.
Predicted winner: Broncos
AFC Championship Game: Denver Broncos at New England Patriots
The Denver Broncos are better equipped to deal with the Patriots this time around thanks to the emergence of Anderson, but it is impossible to forget about the regular-season meeting when forecasting this game.
The Patriots destroyed the Broncos, 43-21, in Week 9 in New England, which is exactly where this game would be the second time around. What’s more, ESPN Stats & Info pointed out why Brady is the quarterback to have if this AFC Championship Game comes down to the final minutes:

NFC Race to the Super Bowl
Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson has never lost to the Carolina Panthers in his career, and he is not about to start now with the best defense in the league on his side.
The Seattle Seahawks were tops in the NFL in scoring defense, total defense and defense against the pass and were third against the run this year. They already held Cam Newton and the Panthers offense to a measly nine points in the regular-season matchup, and this time around it will be in front of the deafening Seattle fans.
Predicted winner: Seattle Seahawks
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers
The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers are loaded with stars who could put up big numbers, but the difference in this game will be the matchup between Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb against the Cowboys secondary.
The Packers were tops in the NFL in scoring offense and should be able to light up the No. 26-ranked secondary in Sunday’s showdown. Nelson and Cobb alone combined for 2,806 receiving yards and 25 touchdown catches and will have their way with a porous Cowboys defense.
Predicted winner: Green Bay Packers
NFC Championship Game: Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks

Much like the projected AFC Championship Game, we have seen this movie before.
The Packers went into Seattle in the season opener and got their doors blown off by the physical defense of the Seahawks to the tune of 36-16. Rodgers threw for an uncharacteristically low 189 yards, and a large chunk of that came in garbage time after the outcome was already decided.
The scary thing for Green Bay is that Seattle wasn’t even satisfied with its performance if cornerback Richard Sherman was to be believed after the game, according to The Associated Press, via ESPN.com:
"It wasn't dominant at all. We have a lot of things to clean up. We missed some opportunities on some turnovers. We missed some tackles on key drives we could have stopped; we had some key penalties. These are all things we need to clean up because we have a really high standard.
"
Seattle spent the rest of the season cleaning those things up. That’s not good news for the Packers.
