Anthony Davis has been ruled out for New Orleans' game against New York on Monday, according to Mason Ginsberg of ESPN. This comes after Davis missed both Friday's and Sunday's games.
Davis Dealing with Toe Injury

John Reid of NOLA.com provided some background on the injury to Davis:
"'It’s pretty sore, but I’m going to keep getting treatment to see how it feels leading up to the game,' Davis said.
During Wednesday night’s 105-94 victory against the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Davis said he jammed his toe while going for a layup during the final play of the third quarter.
"
Davis has been nothing short of spectacular this season, as ESPN.com indicates he's leading the league in player efficiency rating. His ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor is matched by only a select few players around the NBA.
Even more amazing is the fact that he's doing this despite being just 21 years old.
He's previously dealt with relatively minor wrist and chest issues. Neither of those caused him to miss any significant game action or practice time.
The Pelicans hope the latest injury falls into the same category, or it would obviously be a major setback.
While New Orleans awaits further word about Davis' status, Ryan Anderson figures to see a notable uptick in usage. Alexis Ajinca and Dante Cunningham will also see some additional minutes if the rising star misses time.
Further updates on Davis will be passed along as they become available.
