Brett Keisel Injury: Updates on Steelers Star's Triceps and Return

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel tore his triceps in Week 13 vs. New Orleans, ending his season. He has since been placed on injured reserve.

The Steelers confirmed they placed Brett Keisel on injured reserve following his injury:

Keisel Injures Triceps vs. Saints

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel left the team's Week 13 matchup against the New Orleans Saints with a triceps injury and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network would later echo a similar sentiment: 

Keisel, 36, has one sack with 17 combined tackles this season. His impact on the field might not always be evident, but he is a leader for the defense that Pittsburgh can't afford to lose.
