Rueben Randle Reportedly Benched for 1st Quarter Due to Coach's Decision
Losing six straight games will force a coaching staff to make major changes. For New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin, that apparently means benching wide receiver Rueben Randle.
Around The NFL on Twitter pointed out that Randle was sitting out against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a coach's decision:

Following the game, Randle explained what prompted the punishment, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News:
Randle, a 2012 second-round pick, was not listed among the Giants' inactives for Sunday. He started each of the team's previous 11 games, taking on an increased role following Victor Cruz's season-ending injury. The former LSU star has already set a career high with 53 receptions for 557 yards and two touchdowns this season.
That said, Odell Beckham Jr.'s emergence has minimized Randle's role a bit. He was targeted only three times in last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, finishing with 36 yards. Beckham, the team's first-round pick this May, had 10 receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns. He has double-digit targets each of the last four games.
New York, which has dropped six straight games since a 3-2 start, will need Randle to perform following his punishment to finish strong this season.
