Ben Roethlisberger Says Justin Bieber Wasn't a Distraction to Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger didn't believe pop sensation Justin Bieber's presence at a Saturday team bible study had any impact on the team's 20-13 loss to the New York Jets in Week 10.
"That's not a big deal at all," said Roethlisberger on 93.7 The Fan (h/t ProFootballTalk.com's Josh Alper). "For instance, Plaxico Burress stopped by. Obviously he's family, but people stop by all of the time and say, 'Hi,' and we've had other athletes, actors, celebrities, stuff like that stop by. It's not a big deal at all."
Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward posted a picture with Bieber on Twitter:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Roethlisberger had thrown six touchdowns in each of his previous two starts but was stymied by the Jets' complex defense masterminded by coach Rex Ryan.
ESPN Stats & Info highlighted just how big of an egg Big Ben laid against a rather vulnerable New York secondary:
Perhaps a letdown of sorts was in store for Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh offense, which had been met with little resistance before Sunday's ill-fated trip to MetLife Stadium. The Jets are now just 2-8 on the season, so it'd be hard to blame the Steelers for taking the underdogs lightly even on the road.
At least Pittsburgh's players can lick their wounds for an extra day ahead of Week 11's matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Monday night.
Tennessee has the NFL's 11th-ranked pass defense but struggles to defend the run. As a means of getting back on track, it stands to reason that the Steelers could focus more on feeding star feature back Le'Veon Bell.
The AFC North features all four teams at least two games above .500, so Pittsburgh needs to bounce back fast—regardless of whom the team interacts with before Monday's game.
