Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest on Gareth Bale, Sami Khedira and More
Real Madrid picked up a big win over Barcelona in the first Clasico of the season on Saturday, and the sensational performances of several of their players have led to plenty of transfer rumours regarding some of their competitors.
Los Blancos arguably have the most talented and deepest squad in the world, and a multitude of foreign clubs would love nothing more than to add their own Galactico during the January window.
Florentino Perez won't have to be active during the January window—but then again, he didn't need to replace World Cup hero Angel Di Maria with James Rodriguez. There's no such thing as a slow transfer window in the Spanish capital, so let's have a look at the latest news and rumours surrounding the club.

What is Gareth Bale's Future?

Top signing James Rodriguez and Spain international Isco have been nothing short of sensational in the past few weeks, and as a result, fans and pundits are starting to question whether Wales international Gareth Bale still figures to be a major part of this squad in the future.
Fichajes.net (h/t Metro) suggest Manchester United are already considering a £90 million bid in January, believing the winger is available for the right price as a result of the excellent play of his team-mates.
It's a logical train of thought; it's also nothing but a dream. Bale is one of the world's best and most unique players, combining raw pace, strength and technique with lethal finishing ability. There's a reason Real invested so heavily in the former Tottenham man, who was instrumental for the team during the latter part of the 2013-14 season.
As shared by the team's official Twitter feed, manager Carlo Ancelotti made it very clear how he sees his star winger:
Isco and Rodriguez are both excellent players with plenty of potential, but Bale sits a class above the duo. When healthy, he is one of the first names on Ancelotti's team sheet. He won't move in January.
Manchester City Join Sami Khedira Race

The Daily Mail's Rob Shepherd believes defending Premier League champions Manchester City will rival Manchester United and Arsenal for Sami Khedira's signature in January, despite Los Blancos' insistence the Germany international is not for sale.
Speaking to the London Evening Standard's Simon Johnson, Carlo Ancelotti expressed hope the midfielder would extend his deal with the club, and if he doesn't, he will stay in the Spanish capital until June.
He said: "We have until June to reach an agreement with him. If he wants to sign an extension, the club will renew him. If not, he will leave the team at the end of the season."
Manchester City hardly have a need for another holding midfielder, although Yaya Toure's spotty form in the 2014-15 season may leave the team in need of some depth.
It is possible the Citizens, like their rivals, are looking to take advantage of Khedira's status as a free agent to be, and while Ancelotti doesn't want to lose the player, the right offer will likely lead to a transfer in January.
Los Blancos have the depth to cope with his loss, but they are obviously a better team with the 27-year-old in the squad. The next two months will be crucial for his future, as Real look to tie him to a new deal before the January window opens.
Manchester United Ready to Move for Daley Sinkgraven
Louis van Gaal has reportedly stepped up his interest in Heerenveen's wunderkind Daley Sinkgraven, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder who is also on the radar of Real and a host of other top clubs, per the Daily Mirror's Simon Mullock.
The Netherlands U21 international is raw but wildly talented, displaying sensational vision for such a young player. He's far from ready to make an impact on the highest level, however, and he is only used to playing in the Dutch league, one of the most attack-friendly competitions in the world.
Any deal for the Heerenveen playmaker will likely see him stay at the Dutch club for the time being to help him develop his game. His fit with Los Blancos is a bit of a question mark at the moment, and the high level of competition would be detrimental to his development.
Ajax's famed youth setup and Van Gaal's reputation for developing talent makes a move to the Dutch champions or Red Devils more likely.
