New Possible Opponents for Dolph Ziggler's Intercontinental Championship
In a surprising move, WWE scripted Dolph Ziggler to win back his Intercontinental Championship from The Miz on Monday’s Raw (Ziggler had lost the belt the night before at Night of Champions).
Presumably, The Miz vs. Ziggler program is over for the time being—it was entertaining for a while but has probably run its course.
So, who will be Ziggler's next title challenger?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Bray Wyatt is the obvious option. According to reports from F4Wonline (via WrestlingInc.com), WWE management is strongly considering this.

OK, so this is a bit of a demotion for Wyatt—just a few months ago he was clashing with John Cena on pay-per-view—but at least it will give him something to do for a while until the writers come up with a better idea for him.
Besides, Ziggler vs. Wyatt would probably make for a great feud; they both have the promo skills and in-ring talent to deliver something special. And it would be funny to see Ziggler's down-to-earth and humorous reactions to Wyatt's scary, long-winded promos.
The rivalry would certainly make for an interesting clash of personalities.
Bo Dallas is another wrestler who could desperately use a prominent program to help get his struggling career back on track. He’s been lost in the lower midcard in a painfully tedious feud with Jack Swagger for the past several months and has almost been forgotten.

This is too bad. While he’s still a bit green and not particularly over with the fans, the charismatic Dallas clearly has some potential as a performer—why not script him to be Ziggler’s next foe? The matches would probably be OK, and WWE needs to start giving younger guys such as Dallas more chances on the main roster if it is to build for its future.
And if it doesn’t work out, so what? WWE can just book Ziggler to retain the belt at Hell in a Cell and then quickly move on to another program.
Rusev is another potential opponent, although one who probably wouldn’t bode well for Ziggler’s title reign. With gorgeous but evil manager Lana by his side, Rusev has destroyed everything in his path as he climbs up the card—the former Spirit Squad member would undoubtedly be the next victim if they were to face off on television or pay-per-view.

Ziggler has greatly improved his position in the last few months. For the first time in a long time, he feels like a crucial and entertaining part of Raw.
It would be a real shame to see WWE throw out all its good work and have Ziggler job to Rusev in a quick squash bout.
Summarily, the company has quite a few options for the star and his Intercontinental Championship going forward. A Ziggler-Wyatt feud sounds particularly promising.
But it might be best if he avoids Rusev—for now, anyway.
