Jeremy Kerley, Eric Decker's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
Jeremy Kerley and Eric Decker are the top two options in the New York Jets' passing attack, and both continued to give mixed signals to their fantasy owners in Week 4.
Kerley bounced back strong on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears after two poor performances to start out 2014, but Decker—who was questionable all week with a hamstring injury—was seemingly kept in check despite impressing in his first few games as a Jet.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈

As noted by Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the 25-year-old Kerley proved reliable on a number of decent gains in a first-half scoring drive, capped off by his 19-yard touchdown that trimmed the deficit:
| Jeremy Kerley | 7 | 81 | 1 |
| Eric Decker | 1 | 19 | 0 |
He foretold Jets.com's Eric Allen of his breakout:
Decker was brought in on a big-money deal to become a game-changer in the Jets offense, and he proved to be just that early on in 2014 with 137 yards and a touchdown in his first two games.
As for Kerley, his emergence came at just the right time for New York. He only had 60 yards through the first two games, but from his negated game-tying touchdown in Week 2 to his performance Monday, his potential is without question.
It's hard to put much stock into any Jets receiver given the offense's recent history, but Geno Smith has shown signs of improvement. If that continues, both Decker and Kerley will be bound to go off from time to time.
Decker remains a strong WR2 option, while Kerley is a flex option at best.
Playing the matchups is wise with this unit, making a Week 4 matchup against a poor Detroit Lions secondary an enticing one—especially for the rising Kerley.
