WWE SmackDown Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from September 19
The penultimate stop on the road to Night of Champions, WWE's SmackDown was the setting for a major clash between Roman Reigns and the massive Bulgarian Brute, Rusev.
With both men partaking in huge matches on the September 21 card, Reigns and Rusev were each looking to make an impression and leave the Friday night staple riding a wave of momentum into this weekend's extravaganza.
Who would achieve their goal, picking up a huge win and establishing themselves as one of the premiere stars to watch come Sunday evening? Who would join them in entering Night of Champions with momentum on their side?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Take a look for yourself.

Winner: Mark Henry
The World's Strongest Man continued to get over on Rusev heading into their humongous match at Night of Champions Friday night, delivering a huge World's Strongest Slam and celebrating to close out the program, the United States flag hanging high overhead.
After a meaningless first half of 2014, Henry has experienced a career renaissance of sorts, becoming more over than he had been as a babyface prior and doing a tremendous job of helping Rusev along as he continues his climb up the ladder.
He is unlikely to be the first star to pin the Bulgarian Brute's shoulders to the mat at Night of Champions, but he should provide the big man with the first threat to his physical dominance.

Loser: Stardust
The bizarre brother of Goldust suffered a major stumbling block on his way to a potential WWE Tag Team Championship victory at Night of Champions when, on Friday night's SmackDown, he lost to Jimmy Uso. He not only lost to Uso, he lost to Uso in only two minutes.
The loss was a major disappointment to the enigmatic Superstar, whose heel turn earlier in the month felt like the genesis of something truly special for the character and the tag team division as a whole. Instead, the feud has settled into the same formulaic booking pattern that WWE Creative applies to the majority of the tag team stories.
For Goldust and Stardust, the silver lining is the fact that they remain favorites to leave Night of Champions with the tag titles.
So there's that.

Winner: The Bunny
Bunny's got mad hops, bro.
(I just really wanted to say that.)

Loser: The Miz
Just 24 hours away from his latest attempt to regain the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler, The Miz found his so-called moneymaker assaulted and his shoulders pinned to the mat, cooling him off significantly as he prepares for Night of Champions.
It is not necessarily the way one would want to enter a major pay-per-view event. For Miz, though, he can rest comfortably knowing that WWE typically incorporates a 50/50 booking style and thus, the former WWE champion has as good a chance at leaving Night of Champions with the Intercontinental title back in his grasp.

Winner: Nikki Bella
The self-absorbed half of the Bella Twins made a major statement Friday night, interrupting the "frenemy" drama between AJ Lee and Divas champion Paige and blasting them with the most prestigious title in women's wrestling before standing tall in the center of the ring, the championship held high overhead.
Nikki has certainly been developed into the most hated Diva in all of WWE, and the idea of her winning the Divas Championship from Paige is one fans are in no hurry to contemplate.
Though she still has a lot of work to do as far as her overall performance goes, she has grown and improved over the last six months. Improving her acting chops would be a step in the right direction.
