Bobby Rainey, Mike James' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
Fantasy owners who started Bobby Rainey this week can at least take solace in the fact that they didn't start Mike James.
Neither running back did much of anything against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night in what was a one-sided drubbing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| Bobby Rainey | 11 | 41 | 0 | 2 |
| Mike James | 4 | 4 | 0 | 0 |
| Bobby Rainey | 7 | 64 | 0 | - |
| Mike James | 1 | -5 | 0 | - |
The stink from this 56-14 loss will linger for some time in terms of the perception around the Buccaneers, but you shouldn't let it cloud your fantasy judgment.
Rainey should have a place on your team as long as Doug Martin is out, and even when Martin comes back, you should at least keep Rainey on the bench.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times had Lovie Smith's thoughts on Rainey:
Thursday's game might give you pause in terms of starting him, but don't forget he went for 144 yards against the St. Louis Rams. Rainey should remain at least a flex option.
James shouldn't be considered much of a fantasy asset except in the deepest of leagues. His value will be nil when Martin comes back into the fold, and even with the regular starter out, James has done little to prove why he should get a lot of touches in the offense.
