Muhammad Wilkerson Ejected After Throwing Punches During Jets vs. Packers
Things went from bad to worse for the New York Jets Sunday, as they lost stud defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson shortly after seeing an 18-point first-half lead evaporate.
It wasn't to an injury, though. This one was self-inflicted. After the Green Bay Packers converted a two-point conversion to take a 24-21 lead in the third quarter (after trailing 21-3 earlier), a scuffle broke out, and Wilkerson threw multiple punches.

He was subsequently ejected, per the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta:
After New York's 31-24 loss, Wilkerson spoke to the team according to ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini:
Wilkerson is a critical part of the Jets' elite defensive line, which has helped cover up some of the problems of a thin secondary. Cimini noted the impact of his loss:
Even though he got himself ejected at such a crucial moment in the game, though, he wasn't exactly showing remorse as he left the playing field. Newsday's Kimberley A. Martin captured a photo of the 24-year-old taunting the Lambeau crowd:
We'll have to see if his departure results in a loss for the Jets, but one thing is for sure: Wilkerson can expect to be hearing from the league very soon.
