Arizona Cardinals vs. New York Giants: Live Score and Analysis for Arizona
For the second straight week to begin the 2014 season, the Arizona Cardinals have to come from behind in the fourth quarter to win a game. This time, however, it was more about the defense and special teams than it was the offense.

Backup quarterback Drew Stanton played valiantly all afternoon, completing 14 of 29 passes (48.3 percent) for 167 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for a 66.3 passer rating. He led an early touchdown drive aided by defensive penalties by the New York Giants and added four field-goal drives throughout the game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The star of the offense was running back Andre Ellington, who carried 15 times for 91 yards (6.1 yards per carry) and added a 10-yard reception for good measure. Six of his 15 carries covered at least six yards, with three gaining 15-plus yards.
Wideout Larry Fitzgerald, after a one-catch performance on Monday Night Football last week, led the team with six receptions for 51 yards (8.5 yards per catch). Michael Floyd had just one reception for 19 yards.
Defensively, it was an up-and-down game for coordinator Todd Bowles' unit. New York's run game struggled most of the afternoon, averaging 3.0 yards per carry, but quarterback Eli Manning torched the secondary, completing 26 of 39 passes (66.7 percent) for 277 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for an 83.0 rating.
Tight ends were an issue for the defense once again, as no-named tight end Larry Donnell led the way with seven receptions for 81 yards, and Daniel Fells—brother of inactive Cardinals tight end Darren Fells—caught a 1-yard touchdown to put the Giants up late in the third quarter, 14-10.
Like last week, this win was not pretty. But also like last week, the line of the game will be, "A win is a win." The Cardinals are 2-0 for the fifth time since moving to Arizona and now look forward to hosting the NFC West-foe and constant bugaboo San Francisco 49ers next week.
