Saturday's bout with Maidana, who also stands to benefit financially and from a marketing standpoint by having two fights with Mayweather under his belt, will prove to be another cash bonanza for everyone involved.
While there will be plenty of time for analysis of the fight, the more-intriguing reaction will be seeing how much cash it takes to make a rematch with Mayweather happen and how much was put in both fighters' pockets.

What We Know

Bryan Armen Graham of Mic News provides details on the payouts:
Even though actual contract terms aren't made available to the public, it's no secret that Mayweather cleans up on pay-per-view. This was his fourth fight as part of a six-fight contract with Showtime Sports signed in February 2013.
At the time of Mayweather's agreement, Kurt Badenhausen of Forbes.com wrote based on pay-per-view trends it could climb as high as $250 million:
"Mayweather is likely looking at a guarantee of around $200 million for the six-fight deal. Pay-per-view revenues will push that total past $250 million. How much past $250 million depends on the quality and marketability of his opponents, as well as Mayweather staying undefeated.
"
In their first fight, Mayweather was guaranteed $32 million and Maidana started out at $1.5 million. However, according to Dan Rafael of ESPN.com, a glove issue forced Mayweather to guarantee Maidana another $1.5 million and he ended up with at least $5.7 million in defeat.
Mayweather claimed on Instagram his total payout for the fight was going to be in the $70 million range.
In another post on Forbes.com, Badenhausen noted that was just "wishful thinking" on Mayweather's part because the pay-per-view buys suggested earnings in the range of what he got for fighting Robert Guerrero (roughly $34 million).
The buyrate for that fight in May, according to Amy Parlapiano of SI.com, was around 900,000, less than half of what Mayweather's previous fight with Canelo Alvarez did (2.2 million).
Considering how close the first fight between Mayweather and Maidana was, not to mention that it just happened four months ago, making it easier to market a rematch, the buys for the second bout figure to increase.
With an increased buyrate, Mayweather and Maidana will end up coming out further ahead than they did in May.
