Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn Live Updates From Tonight's Ceremonial Weigh-In

Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn are fighting on Saturday in Las Vegas.

But they'll get together for one last face-to-face encounter beforehand on Friday night, in the form of a ceremonial weigh-in for their WBC welterweight title showdown at T-Mobile Arena.

Both fighters will have weighed in "for real" earlier in the day, and, provided both were at or below the 147-pound limit, they'll get a final chance to flex for the cameras and talk trash to one another before Saturday's action commences.

B/R will provide live ceremonial updates beginning at or near 8 p.m. ET.

Garcia and Benn appeared for a final pre-fight press conference on Wednesday and lobbed the predictable verbal grenades, and the goings-on were spiced up by an appearance from a disguised Teofimo Lopez, who holds the WBA title at 147.

A Contentious Journey

Judging by a muscle-pocked abdomen, Conor Benn looks ready.

But the Englishman admitted he'd been through the "pits of hell" and "had a fight with Satan" while dropping weight over the last 15 months and trying to approach the 147-pound limit for Saturday's fight, having not hit that number or below since he KO'd Chris van Heerden in Round 2 in their 2022 matchup.

Benn was 150 or heavier for his next four fights after van Heerden and weighed 149.5 for a defeat of former 140-pound champ Regis Prograis in April.

"I'd rather it hard then than hard now," Benn said. "So it's easy now."
