FIFA 14: Highlighting Most Exciting Teams in This Year's Game
The world football season doesn't officially begin until FIFA 14 launches.
Fans still have to wait another month as the game is set to release September 24 in North America and September 26 in Europe. Until then, FIFA 13 will have to suffice.
That shouldn't be a huge problem since it continues to be a great game. The only issue is that it isn't up to date with the newest moves.

If you're like me, you've wasted no time in putting the summer's biggest transfers with their new clubs. You've already added Neymar to Barcelona, Stevan Jovetic to Manchester City, Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint-Germain, Mario Gotze to Bayern Munich, Radamel Falcao to Monaco, etc.
In no particular order, here are five squads that should provide the most entertainment in this year's version. These clubs were all a lot of fun to play with in FIFA 13, but they've managed to make some moves in the summer that will have upped that fun quotient.
Barcelona
Just how Neymar and Lionel Messi will work together is one of the most intriguing issues in world football going into the new season. They're both used to being the focal point of their teams, and each player will have to learn how to cede to the other in certain situations. Whether or not that will be the case remains to be seen.
If you're playing FIFA, though, you don't care about any of that. You can put Messi at centre-forward and Neymar on the left wing and wreak havoc on your opponent.
Barcelona have generally been one of the most fun teams in FIFA over the past few years. Their combination of attacking football and creative, quick players makes for an easy time when you're trying to get on the board.
By adding Neymar, Barca have ensured that even the most novice of players will be able to put three or four past their opponents. Just get the ball at the feet of either Neymar or Messi and you're golden.
Bayern Munich
Who wouldn't want to play with the reigning champions of Europe?
Bayern Munich have just about every area of the pitch covered. With Manuel Neuer, Dante and Philipp Lahm anchoring the defence, you don't have to worry much about that end of the pitch.
That leaves you free to have as many attacking runs down the flanks with Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben as your heart desires. Given how well Ribery did last season, it's likely he'll be rated somewhere in the low-to-mid 90s, making him almost unstoppable.
Then you've also got a stacked midfield that has Thomas Muller, Mario Gotze, Javi Martinez, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Toni Kroos.
Oh yeah, and Mario Mandzukic is one of the best strikers in Germany.
What's not to like about Bayern?
Borussia Dortmund
Even without Mario Gotze, this is still a loaded Borussia Dortmund team.
Robert Lewandowski is still a Dortmund player, and they've added Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the attack as well. Lewandowski can be more of the poacher who stays close to the box, while Aubameyang is the mobile forward who can run at the opposing defence.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan joins what is a very good midfield. Nuri Sahin and Ilkay Gundogan are the more metronomic central midfielders who can get it up to the attackers like Aubameyang, Lewandowski and Marco Reus.
Dortmund won't have the kind of quick-strike attack that Barcelona and Bayern Munich have. However, with the kind of passers they possess, you will have no problem working the ball across the pitch effectively, much to the consternation of your opponent.
Chelsea
It's a good thing FIFA doesn't have some sort of confidence rating, otherwise Fernando Torres would be just as useless in the game as he is in real life. Since there isn't, Torres will likely still remain a good video game player, even after another poor season at Chelsea. He's got solid speed and enough dribbling ability to create some nice goals.
Next to him is Romelu Lukaku. After his huge season at West Brom, it will be interesting to see where the young Belgian is rated. It will probably end up being something in the low-to-mid 80s. No matter what his rating is, he'll be a great target man as a result of his size and physicality.
The Blues also have what is a lethal midfield trio in Oscar, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata. All three will have ridiculous dribbling ratings and will be able to deliver a variety of passes.
Paris Saint-Germain
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani, you have the best strike force in the world. It seems likely doomed to create some personality clashes at some point down the road.
Much as with Barcelona, whatever chemistry problems might arise at Paris Saint-Germain are completely irrelevant in FIFA. It's the only place where Zlatan's ego doesn't get in the way. You can put him and Cavani up top, and the goals will flow.
Behind those two, you've got the likes of Lucas Moura, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Javier Pastore and Marco Veratti. Gregory van der Wiel and Lucas Digne are both attack-minded defenders who love to get forward.
When you add it all up, you've got a PSG side with a wealth of attacking options.
