Juventus Transfer Tracker: Bianconeri News and Rumours Week of July 1
Mirko Vucinic Heading for the Exit, Zenit an Option
1 of 6After Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez arrived in Turin, Juve suddenly have a surplus of strikers.
It is likely that at least one of Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella, Sebastian Giovinco and Mirko Vucinic will depart this summer.
The Montenegrin is the first to be linked with a move away from the club and Football Italia report on both reports from the Russian and Italian press surrounding the 29-year-old's future.
Russian newspaperย Izvestia claim that a โฌ9 million deal is in place for the former Roma striker, but there are contrasting reports from the Italian media that the Old Lady will demand twice that fee for the player.
With just 14 goals in 43 games last season, Vucinic will be required to score more should he stay on. But his ability to get on the ball and provide an alternative to Andrea Pirlo in Juve's build-up play is something that could be missed by Antonio Conte.
Emanuele Giaccherini a Target for Sunderland
2 of 6Emanuele Giaccherini has been linked with a move away from Turin, with Premier League side Sunderland interested in the Azzurri international, according to the Sunderland Echo.
Giaccherini was in impressive form for Italy at the Confederations Cup and can consider himself one of the most versatile players in Serie A.
Predominantly a winger, Giaccherini has played centre-midfield for Juventus and enjoyed a more advanced midfield role under Cesare Prandelli, behind Mario Balotelli.
The 28-year-old even played as a left-back for Italy at last year's Euro 2012, which shows what a useful player he can be.
With game time hard to come by with Juventus last season and his performances for Italy this summer demonstrating what he is capable of when afforded the opportunity, a move away seems like a good option at this stage of his career, especially with the World Cup just a year away.
Luca Marrone Set for New Contract
3 of 6Luca Marrone will be offered a new contract until 2018, according to Tuttosport (via Forza Italian Football).
The 23-year-old was used sparingly last season for the Bianconeri, but his ability to play at centre-back or centre-midfield gives Antonio Conte a player who can occupy six of the 11 places on the pitch.
Marrone needs more game time though, with suggestions that a contract renewal will shortly be followed by a season-long loan for the Azzurrini international.
Juventus Starlet Zaza to Join Sassuolo on Loan
4 of 6Juventus starlet Simone Zaza will join Serie A newcomers Sassuolo for the upcoming season on a one-year loan.
Zaza impressed in Serie B with Ascoli last season, prompting the Bianconeri to buy the 22-year-old from Sampdoria with Manolo Gabbiadini going the other way in a co-ownership deal.
With 18 goals in 35 games last season, Zaza's performances have caused a great deal of attention and how he can adapt to Italy's top division will be fascinating to see.
Juventus to Return to City After Tevez Capture for Kolarov
5 of 6Juventus look to further strengthen their squad ahead of the new season after capturing Carlos Tevez last week from Manchester City.
The Bianconeri could return to City for their left-back Aleksandar Kolarov, who would be a more natural fit to the left-midfield role that would probably be occupied by Kwadwo Asamoah right now.
The Old Lady would like to take the Serbian international on a season-long loan, according to the Guardian.
But it seems unlikely that City would sanction such a move and will probably look for a transfer fee.
But with Gael Clichy seemingly the favourite to be the starting left-back for new manager Manuel Pellegrini, Kolarov might be tempted to push for a move, especially when there is interest from a bigger club like Juventus.
Juventus Also Monitoring Real Madrid's Left-Back Marcelo
6 of 6Another option for Juventus on the left side of their midfield could be Real Madrid's Marcelo.
The Brazilian international has impressed at the Confederations Cup and could interest the Bianconeri if a deal for Kolarov cannot be agreed upon, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Forza Italian Football also report the interest from the Italian club, who would be pushed to make a deal if Real Madrid sign Gareth Bale, as it would make Los Merengues more likely to sell.
Marcelo is a more athletic player than Kolarov, but arguably less solid defensively. The Brazilian could offer better link-up down the left side, with more career assists (46) than the Serbian (27).
But Kolarov is a slightly greater goal threat, with 26 career goals to Marcelo's 21.
At similar ages, with Kolarov 27 years old and Marcelo 25, the Serbian might be more attractive due to his experience in Serie A, which might make his adaption process quicker.
If Juve can buy one of these two, their starting lineup will look almost set and provide great balance and competition for all positions.
