Tour de France 2013 Stage 3 Results: Winner, Leaderboard and Highlights
In a sprint to the line and a photo finish, Simon Gerrans just held off Peter Sagan to win the third stage at the Tour de France in Corsica.

Jan Bakelants kept hold of his yellow jersey, however, as he finished in the group just behind the two leaders and finished with the same time of three hours, 41 minutes and 24 seconds.

Sagan held on to the green jersey after accumulating six points on the day, bringing his total up to 74 for the Tour. Sebastien Minard won the most points on the stage, taking 20.
Pierre Rolland took sole position atop the overall climbing rankings with 10 points, earning a crucial five points on the Col de Marsolino, while Simon Clarke earned five points on the three other climbs in this stage.
Pierre Rolland, Sylvain Cahavanel, Lars Nordhaug and Mikel Nieve tried to pull away from the peloton after the final climb of the race, but with about three kilometers to go, they were caught by about 85 other riders comprising the main group.
That would set up the eventual sprint to the end between Gerrans and Sagan, and it initially seemed like Sagan had won, only to be just overtaken by Gerrans.
On another beautiful day, on one of the more gorgeous stages you'll see, there was little drama affecting the race save the occasional spill from a rider and several participants dropping out.
In general, this was a pretty measured race by the top competitors, who generally stayed with the main group and eventually caught up to the sprint packs that sped ahead throughout the race.
The Tour now heads to Nice for a team time trial on Tuesday.
