Brazil vs. Uruguay: Live Stream Info and More for Confederations Cup Semifinal
South American rivals Brazil and Uruguay are set to battle for a place in the Confederations Cup championship match. Brazil reached the semifinals by winning Group A while Uruguay was able to secure second place in Group B.
Brazil is serving as the host nation for the event, as it will for next year's World Cup. In turn, the team has been under an extraordinary amount of pressure as the Neymar-led group attempts to live up to the success of past Selecao squads.
The spotlight on Brazil has allowed Uruguay to fly under the radar. The Celeste can enter the semifinal free from the scrutiny their opponents have faced, making an already-dangerous squad an even bigger concern for the hosts.

Neymar is a special talent. People who didn't believe that before the tournament began have witnessed an often brilliant display of football from the 21-year-old forward. He's the main reason Brazil breezed through the tougher group.
He's scored a goal in each match so far. The most impressive thing, however, is how it always appears he's a step or two ahead of the match. Knowing he can beat the defender directly in front of him, the new Barcelona man is already thinking about how to beat the next defender or the goalkeeper.
Neymar's ability to dominate a match also makes life far easier on his teammates. The likes of Oscar, Fred and Hulk are afforded more space to operate because opponents are forced to exert so much effort just to keep him from taking over the game.
Add in the fact Brazil sports a veteran defense led by Thiago Silva and Dani Alves, and it's not hard to see why the Selecao have emerged as top contenders alongside Spain. Resurgent veteran goalkeeper Julio Cesar also factors in.
If its strong form wasn't enough, Brazil can also lean on the fact it has a strong track record of success against Uruguay, as pointed out by Paul Carr of ESPN.
The glimmer of hope for Uruguay is its ability to play at Brazil's speed. The playmaking Brazilians like to push an up-tempo style, which allows Neymar to get more touches and that's usually when magic happens. The Celeste won't mind playing that type of match.
That's mostly because of their dynamic attacking trio of Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and Diego Forlan, who continues to play at a very high level at age 34. If Uruguay can win enough battles in the midfield to create chances for those three stars, it can keep pace with Brazil.
The other key player is goalkeeper Fernando Muslera. In order for the Celeste to pull off the upset, he's going to need to make a couple highlight-reel saves. Anything less than an elite performance from him and Brazil likely runs away with the match.
All told, it should be a back-and-forth match with some physical play between the rivals. And in the end Brazil should have enough offensive firepower to pull out a narrow victory and a trip to the final.
Prediction: Brazil 3, Uruguay 2
